  • You look gorgeous! Congratulations on your hard work. Love your baby-wearing shots, btw!
  • Fantastic! Congrats! May I ask how long it took you? I have about 30 more lbs to lose (just starting this journey in earnest) and I'm curious. Also, what's your calorie intake? Thanks!
  • Thank you, both for your replies. I think your solution, tarsul, will work for me!
  • I've struggled with this, too. I'm sorry to hear youre dealing with the same issue. It can be cery hard on your self-esteem. I've found it is definitely anxiety-related and worse when I don't get enough sleep. It was really bad after the birth of my last baby. I made several weight loss attempts but, initially, dieting…
  • Bump. I'd like to hear answers to your question, too.
  • Wow! What a difference in just 6 weeks!! Congrats :)
  • Congratulations! You look healthy, happy and YOUNG! I was also diagnosed with a bone bruise in my knee after training for a half marathon. I'm still not healed after 10 weeks and its really discouraging. I do ride my bike and use the elliptical. Did you have any residual knee pain after you resumed training? How is it…
  • Wow! You look so much younger! Awesome work!!
  • I'll chime in, too. I love almonds and they're my go-to snack when I'm hungry. They're about 7 cal per almond, though weighing will give you a more accurate number. I also like real butter on toast. A good slather of that will certainly knock out some calories :) Good luck!
  • I'm impressed that you're trying to get healthy at such a young age, and that you recognize how junk food can really get in the way. Good for you! Can you ask your mom to buy you a bag of apples or baby carrots instead of donuts? Maybe if she knows an alternative before she spends money on the bad stuff, she'll remember to…
  • I eat 7 salted almonds. I know it seems like such a tiny amount, but between lunch and dinner when I start getting both sleepy and hungry, that little bit works wonders.
  • Thanks for sharing OP. I thought your meal looked great. We end up eating out several times a month with family or friends and its too many times to just throw caution to the wind and eat whatever I want. I wouldn't be able to stick to my goals. Plus, I'm not the kind of person who can starve all day and use my calories in…
  • I'm 5'5", starting weight of 163. I've only been on mfp for a week, but I'm down to 158. My goal weight is 125-130 (I'm fairly small boned). I'm currently out of town and without a computer so I don't know much about friending, but if you want to add me, please do. I'll add you when I get home :) I was running and doing…
  • As my calories are low at the moment (1200), I've had to find the most filling low-cal breakfasts for me. That would be 3 egg whites, 1 egg either scrambled or hard-boiled with a piece of fruit or toast. I also like rice cakes with Greek yogurt and honey on top.
