Amazing! Congrats on your hard work!

You look great! So much younger :)

What are your stats? Height? Starting weight? Final weight? You look AMAZING! i have a similar build to you so I find your success SO inspiring! Congrats!!!

May I ask how tall you are with that calorie goal? I'm just wondering because I've failed many times due to my low calorie target, so I'm trying to find a reasonable number. Thanks!

It could also be the sweetener. I'm not sure what kind is in your products, but splenda and sugar alcohols really do a number on my stomach.

Fantastic job! You look so much younger!

Thanks for your update! So inspiring!

Another thought I had...are you eating back your exercise calories? Perhaps you're overestimating what you've burned. I've found that the machines tend to report a higher calorie burn than I actually have.
-
How long have you been tracking your calories? With only two days in your food diary, its hard to judge.
-
You must not be eating at a deficit. It sounds like you need to reevaluate your intake of calories and perhaps invest in a food scale so you get a more accurate calorie count. It's normal to gain a bit of water weight when you start working out, but that's just a couple pounds, not 42.

If you find no value in the article, that's cool. Gut health is important to me for much more than weight loss. You can't always avoid things like antibiotics, which do harm your gut, but I can avoid fake sugar, so I do. Anyway, have a great night.

I just read a study that aspartame decimates your natural gut bacteria and skews you toward the gut of a fat person, meaning the bacteria extract the very most energy from your food--more energy than you'd like, if you're trying to lose weight. Here it is:…

I'd love to join, too. I need accountability, but encouragement, too. I'm prone to bingeing/self-sabotaging when I feel deprived, so I'm trying to focus on all the positives instead of the negatives of getting to my goal weight. I'm a 42 yr old busy stay at home mom. I'm 5'5", 160 lbs with a goal of 130.

Well, hindsight is 20/20, right? He shouldn't have taken it in the first place. He shouldn't have thrown it away. He shouldn't have wasted food. He should have used his powers of divination to know that cheesecake was coming to the break room that very day, and he should have accounted for it in his calorie goal from the…

They say you need 500 calories a day extra to make milk (assuming baby is not eating solids or being supplemented with formula), so if you eat at your maintenance level or a little above and just breastfeed, you should lose a pound or two a week. I really miss bfing for that reason, lol! It was a lot easier (for me) to…

Congratulations! May I ask how tall you are?

You look amazing! I'm drawn to the idea of body weight exercises because I can do them alone--I don't need heavy weights or a spotter. Thanks for the info and links!

Thanks for your response. I'm trying Lean Gains with a bit of alteration because I'm a woman, so more like 10-14. I can definitely see how working out hard would lead to overeating. I had planned to limit my workouts to walking and kettle bells. I'll keep your experience in mind and go forward slowly.

I have the Olympus and I love them! My feet are wide across the toes and these shoes are so roomy. I had to order up a full size because of how small they run.

Mine won't ever go away, but I'm okay with that. Two things for me: There are some darn cute one-piece and tankini swimsuits out nowadays. The vintage style ones are especially adorable. Also, exfoliation makes things look better. I found these cheap exfoliating mitts on amazon…

Fantastic! You look SO much younger and happier. if your facebook is public, do you mind sharing the link?

Well, if you must have coconut oil, perhaps cut down on some of the fruit. 1 banana and 2 cups frozen fruit is roughly 300 cals.
