When veggies and fruits are past their prime, I feed them to my backyard chickens. I also feed them the scraps and trimmings from when I do cook. This time of year they love melon rinds and old cucumbers. Makes my bag of chicken feed last longer. If you don't have chickens... I dunno. Maybe get some chickens?

I think I'm in the minority, but I thought I was pretty dang cute at 250 pounds. When I need low impact cardio, I always go for a bike ride or a long swim. Do you have access to a bike or a pool? Another idea is stairs. How are your knees? If they're good, find some stairs, put on some music, and go up and down the stairs for 20-30 minutes. :smile:

I could, and did. My chocolate chip cookie recipe makes 5 dozen. After eating a lot of dough and "sampling" cookies as each dozen baked, I usually ended up with 2-3 dozen cookies. Which I would eat over the course of the next 24 hours. The struggle is real. :bigsmile:
