are you "Sure"?

same here for 3 days, seems for every 1 day i go off my plan, it's 3 days to get back to the original weight. a whole weekend takes a week.

I've counted and stayed under my goal probably 98% of the time over the last 9 months, there has been days where i've gone over and i didnt even bother counting like birthday parties, and a week vacation i didnt count but tried to eat halfway healthy. the days that i have gone over, i made sure that they were just days and…

pretty sure my polar HRM takes my BMR into account. not all HRMs do probably. but to the OP, go with the HRM, i've yet to see a piece of equipment that was anywhere near accurate compared to my HRM.

i've been obsessive over tracking my food. i had dinner tonight at my friends house with his family and tracked it in front of them, they even helped with a bar code. if your friends give you a hard time about tracking your food and trying to be healthier then they arent that good of friends.

That picture is extreme, i have a friend that runs a lot of marathons and looks nothing like that. i also do mainly cardio exercise and have had good results, also look nothing like that guy. Only burns calories? is burning calories and creating a caloric deficit not how you lose fat? which is most peoples goal on this…

Talk to your doctor about a different medication. There may be an alternative medication that will do the same thing you need but without that side effect.

No idea, this is where a HRM would be handy for sure. i'd guess 100 calories per 10 minutes of exercise as a default, then just add a generic exercise and log it.

I looked at this thread just to see how many posts it took for someone to say "fertalized" glad i wasnt disappointed :)

Is this a part of the "make $2500 from home" signs i see? was telemarketing not working out, or is this your other job?
-
Yes, please talk to your doctor. If i was getting dizziness i would stop until i saw my doctor.

i have a fitbit one, used it for about a month or two and dont use it anymore, it was cool at first to see how many steps etc. i was taking a day, but after a while the novelty wore off and i stopped bothering because the numbers every week were pretty much the same so i figured whats the point.

you lose it all over, but where most people notice it first is in the face. i think its probably because its not clothed and hidden like the rest of your body most of the time.

i say YAY, i dont drink sodas that much anymore, but when i go out to eat i'll drink a diet coke if i drink soda. sometimes water just doesnt sound good when im out to eat.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA0wKeokWUU Dr. Oz is a fraud.

you're at a healthy weight now. but if you're not keeping track of food (you are on a food tracking website btw) then it doesnt matter how much you run if you eat like crap. as long as you're at a caloric deficit you'll lose weight.
-
when i've done that i've gotten on the scale, it gets me back on track with a quickness. just because you dont weigh yourself doesnt mean you didnt put on lbs :)
-
I've never been a fan of Dr. Oz, i have family matters that think he's the second coming or something and believe everything he said. this clip was great and funny!

My doctor set me at 2000, thats what i started with and still try to stay under even though MFP gave me 2400-2600, now though MFP says 2020. i'll adjust it according to MFP unless i have issues.
-
I didn't notice any change until I had lost 30lbs

I make myself follow a pre-planned schedule. breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks every 2 hours in between at set times.
-
Are you eating enough food? Last fall i was working out every day but wasnt eating enough to fuel my body, i stepped back my workouts and started losing weight again. you could be over-training.
-
Glad your eyes are better then mine :)
-
i weigh myself a lot, i log it only once or twice a week though. it's all personal preference, some people cant handle seeing their weight fluctuate daily, i like seeing the trends and changes good or bad.

I dont think a lot of the people responding here read the article.

I use to stop at the BK lounge every day on my way to work and scarf down about 3500 calories. the way im able to not stop at those places, is eat lunch before i go to work at home, and I dont drive by those places on my way unless i have to for gas or something. now i cant remember the last time i had BK. and I dont crave…
