When you started the eat clean diet, was there any plan you followed, or book purchased to help guide you? Also, congrats!

I'm like many, I have my good days and bad. I do like my diary open to my friends; makes me more accountable and lets other people get ideas. You're welcome to add me if you'd like!

Congrats.......and YOU are worth it! :)

I agree, 30 min. a day isn't going to hurt them....if anything, it will teach them to take care of their bodies and teach them to be healthy. Good luck...you're worth it!

I feel ya! I'm an emotional eater for sure. I went from 200-ish to 154 and now I'm back to 175. I'm so mad at myself. I was working out everyday and keeping washed and cut strawberries on hand, but then we (me and my husband) starting having troubles with our teenager, I got depressed, and it's like all my strategies that…

I'm right there with you! My problem is I'm an emotional eater, may sound like an excuse, but it's true! My teenager is going through some changes and it's about to put me over the edge! Saturday I ate WAY to many calories and today I know I need to exercise, but I'm having a hard time wanting to do anything. Lets get it…

You can do it! Add friends for support, try to plan out your meals the day before and always have a healthy, or low-cal, snack on hand just in case your plan didn't go accordingly. I'm a school teacher also, and I keep extra cans of Progresso Light soup and Fiber One bars in my classroom as backup! That way I can't say oh,…

I lost my first 20lbs by staying away from drive-thrus!

Thanks for the info! I still have cellulite on the back of my thighs, and a little on my behind! Even after losing 50lbs....ugh! I've started ChaLEAN Extreme, and I do Zumba twice a week. Hoping that helps!

Just finished a prayer for you and your children. I will include you again tonight when I pray with my son at bedtime. Psalm 68:19: Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

I'm typically a very positive person and stay away from negative comments, but I must say, when the lady said my burning only 280 calories wasn't pushing myself, then deleted me 3 days later......almost like she was thinking I was a lost cause! Well, just because I don't always burn 900 calories a day, like she did often,…

Thanks, I'm not going for 300 friends or anything, that's not what it's about.....but when people add me, don't comment I'm not doing enough then delete me, you know? Also, good luck to your adventure to health!

A pound of body fat equates to approximately 3500 calories. So if you have a calorie deficit of 500 calories (meaning that you burn 500 calories more than you eat each day) you would lose approximately one pound per week: 500 x 7 = 3,500 It's easy to see that a calorie deficit of 1000 calories would mean that you'd lose…

I have a pretty simple answer.........some days I eat my exercise calories, and some days I don't. Often times, it just depends on how hungry I am. :-)
