Are you sure it's not 2 lbs a week - that can be done, 2 lbs a day - not healthy even f possible.

Strictly vanity, just want to look absolutely stunning naked.

I'd go with a proven lifting program like Stronglifts or similar as tigersword said, great for beginning weight lifters. More reps, less reps, at this point doesn't really matter - just get to lifting and hit all the major muscle groups. Can't promise you will look as good as that pic, that dude has great DNA, but you'll…

If building muscle is a goal, then whey protein is a easy way to increase your protein intake if you just can't eat enough regular food. I shoot for 150 grams of protein a day, a couple shakes on top of my normal meals get me to that amount. There are many great whey proteins out there, just need to find one that you like…

Start lifting now! If you just do cardio, you will be losing both fat and muscle. Lifting weights (and getting enough protein) will help you keep the muscle you already have and grow a bit more (newb gains) while you are losing fat. Also, you will not gain muscle weight fast enough to make a difference on the scale,…

Life is too short to spend it with someone that makes you miserable. I've been happily married for almost 25 years, I picked a good one. Some people pick bad ones and realize it later.

Alcohol seems to be the catalyst, the obvious answer seems to be stop drinking. I've replaced sitting on my butt and drinking with exercise and weight lifting, amazing the difference it made in my progress. What do you want more - to be fit and healthy or to get drunk regularly? Your choice.
-
Wow, next time just ask, you'd be amazed at how well that works. We can't read your mind.
-
I have not had any alcohol in six months and don't miss it at all. I never felt I needed it or was addicted, I just liked to drink, mostly single malt scotch. I generally drank a bottle a week or more. When I started working out and getting rid of the fat, I decided to quit drinking as it was doing nothing good for my…

Restrict the junk to occasional rather than "all the time" access. Perhaps see if he is interested in any sports or martial arts. Children are what we make them, it's not mean to keep them healthy and in good shape, much worse to allow them to turn into fatbodies and instill bad eating habits which will carry over to their…

Looks like a crap workout to me, I would go one of the established ones.
-
Put up a pic, we'll tell ya if you look healthy or not. Just a BMI number is meaningless, you could be lean and loaded with muscle or you could have a big fat gut.
-
When my pants get too tight, it's time to cut.
-
I would think with most people its about the fat loss, could not care less what the scale says.
-
Great job on the weight loss, your cut is done, eat a little more than maintenance and lift heavy, fill out the loose skin with muscle.
-
Whey protein powder, use it to get your protein levels where you want it to be. I usually do 2-3 protein shakes a day.
-
LOL, sorry for assuming you're a moron. I guess some people/households are much more sensitive to noise, a blender bottle being shaken in my house would be insignificant, no one would notice or care.
-
When you don't workout on a deficit, you will lose both muscle and fat, which will be a faster weight loss than losing just fat. I would prefer to keep as much muscle as possible, specially if future goals include athletic aspirations or climbing big mountains.
-
How is shaking a bottle loud? Then just rinse out, thinking you don't know what a blender bottle actually is. The cost savings of making your own far outweigh the convenience of pre-made shakes as well.
-
No soda or alcohol for me, been about 4 months and not missing it.

Lifting is always the answer to looking better. You're older, possibly more bodyfat % than 6 years ago so you may have to lose some more to get the look you want. My goal was 185 lbs. as I looked great at that weight many years ago but at less than 10 pounds from that goal, I've realized that's not gonna cut it, probably…

You are already pretty thin at 115. Lift weights and eat more. The little amount of flab you have will melt off and soon you will have a nice toned body even better than what you had 10 years ago.
-
No idea what you are eating as your diary is not open. You may be sucking up too many empty calories that is not filling or drinking useless calories. Eat lots of vegetables - not many calories and filling, also get plenty of protein and drink lots of water.
-
Looks like you still got a ways to go. Plenty of fat in the pictures that could be cut.
-
Hope that works for you, wouldn't work for me. I track to make sure I get enough to eat and are hitting my macros for weight lifting. If I don't count then I tend to under-eat.
-
I'm sure there were some 4000+ days, specially when that day included a whole bottle of Chocovino - almost 1900 calories in that small bottle.
-
No, not close enough. The clothes you mention were actually made for public wearing. You might want to at least look at the pictures in the article, like the subway shot of her in bra and panties. Once again, I see someone running around in their undies where undies are not the normal attire, I would think mental health…
-
Doesn't even have to be a woman, let me rephrase - anyone walking around in public in their underwear I would think is a bit nutty, off their meds, or in other words - a bit crazy. When is the last time you walked around downtown or rode a bus or went to work in only your underwear?
-
Very true. If I saw someone dressed (or rather undressed) like that in public, brave is not the word that would come to mind, crazy would be the word.

I figure I had 20 years of cheat days, which got me where I am today (fat), don't need anymore.
