Been on prednisolone for a month now and have made me so permanently hungry that I have put on a stone in weight unfortunately (hence return to MFP). Am gradually tapering down from 7 tablets a day to 1, and then off them soon I hope. They do make you really hungry, and try as I may, am struggling to find a way around it.…

Hello mini-goal people.my aim this week was to give up crisps, and have cut them from 2 packs a day to 1, and made sure it is a small size or a 'lite' option. Also discovered fruit for snacks. And sliced gren pepper flavoured witn dash of tabasco. Hope everyone ok and best of luck to all on goals.

Your doing a great job...i look forward to the day i have lost 17 lbs !, so take real pride and a sense of achievemnet in that ! Take a step back and a dispassionate look at what you have done and you will realise how far you have come. when i get hungry now i drink a pint of water with a thin cracker.

Good luck Manoozo with the workout programme. I admire the self-starting ethos of anyone who drags themselves to a gym or exercise zone!! That definitely a step futher on my horizon, but concentrating focus on eating side for now.

One week on.... success ....... have given up buying packet of 2 white bread processed-cheese sandwiches at work every day ! Now make up at home, and take in one just sandwich of wholemeal bread (instead of spongey white bread) , with tomato puree not margerine, and half-fat Edam instead of the processed rubbery "cheese"…

Do 4 x 10 hour nights from 9pm to 7am in a largely deserted office. Listen to music on youtube and go for a mad running sprint as fast as i can round the block outside at 3am every morning. You would be surprised how it wakes you up for the last few hours. (and burns a few carbs too).

Thanks...yes i see it is going to take more than just 'stopping' something....but a bit of organisation too

yes, just joined and this my first post......have let things get way out of control with my weight over the past six years as am stuck at a desk all day and eat a load of pre-pavked rubbish. My mini-goal is to stop eating processed cheese sandwiches and try and find a healthy alternative.
