  • i thought i was the only one, too! i bought 10 of them from my grocery store cause they were 10 for $10. Lets just say 9 1/2 went to waste :frown:
  • Bagel and cream cheese used to be my go to move. But my body likes to gain about 5 pounds with every bagel! Breakfast is important to me on days when I have to wake up. I wake up for work at about 7. And I get to work at 7:30. I HAVE to eat breakfast or I'll get naseaus. (Is that weird?) On weekends, I normally sleep…
  • Yes. My husband could also lose a couple pounds himself so he keeps me on track. Like when I'm trying to skip out on a workout.. hes there saying "did you do your workout?" He's the cook in our family so he makes our meals healthy. And when I told him I lost 5 pounds he was genuinly proud of me. Supportive spouses are the…
  • i lost weight before just by exercising more. its just different body types i guess. i can (sorta) eat the same as i always do if i do insanity religiously. i gain the weight when i sit around and dont work out and eat that way.
  • oh and if you have an injury.. just work around it. i have a knee injury (patellar tendonitis among other things) and i cant do the power squats and stuff like that that's hard on the knees.. so i just replace them with regular squats. just keep moving and you'll keep losing! :drinker:
  • insanity is AMAZING. i did it before and lost a ton of weight. im starting it again. with the injury thing.. you have to know your limits. they even tell you in the video.. GO AT YOUR OWN PACE. Those people working out behind Shaun T are PROFESSIONAL athletes.. and THEY even drop out once in a while! They had something…
  • I do weekly. I've been told by a lot of my Gym Lover friends that the best plan is: -Weigh weekly -Same day of the week -Right after you wake up in the morning AFTER you empty your bladder. Not sure if this is everyone's way but its helped me in the past. Daily weigh in's discourage me because the water retention…
  • Depends on how you look at it. I used to use WebMD's calorie counter and they encouraged tracking things like doing the dishes and vacuuming. They don't count for many calories separately.. but it feels good to see them add up AND get the house clean
  • I'm new! Started yesterday! I'm married also.. but no kids yet. I havent lost any weight yet.. as a matter of fact I started off with some slip ups.. but im not quitting! im in this for the long haul too! got about 30 pounds to lose.. possibly more. and i neeed accountability which is why im on this site! Feel…
  • I was just sorta curious. I wouldnt like to limit myself to a certain meal.. getting bored of what youre eating just leads to giving up and eating something you're not supposed to. Ive found that eggs for breakfast leaves me full even up to lunch time.. so i drink the special k protein drinks for lunch along with fruit or…
  • This happened to me too. I ate breakfast and then took my vitamin and found myself running to the bathroom to throw it up. Crazy. I threw them out. I've started taking Vitafusion Multivites.. the Gummies
  • Breakfast is my favorite meal! At least... it is when I can have pancakes and waffles and eggs and bacon and... oh boy. I've been trying to cut down. On work days I have scrambled eggs, bacon and a biscuit. Still not healthy... I'm thinking of switching to oatmeal and fruit. I just hope it keeps me full. On weekends.. well…
  • Off I go! Day one. I've done day one of this program about a million times.. even got to day three a couple times but never actually committed. But this time what I saw on the scale is making me do it.. and STICK TO IT! :) I found a website by the way called fitclick.com. You can go in there under fitness and there's an…
