                I'd just continue what you're doing, just stay off the scale and rely on your measurements and clothing sizes.

                Muscle weighs more than fat. I know weight is weight, but I'm sure you rather be a thin looking 200lbs than an overweight looking 125lbs. Like they said, stay off the scale & make the measuring tape your friend :-)
