Ever consider eating "good" high calories foods such as almonds, cottage cheese, etc? Donuts and cookies are a nice treat but not good for ya.

Give yourself some credit!! Sounds like you did awesome. One thing you will find (or at least I did) the first few days are the hardest. I have the solution!!! I always used to get shin splits - but no more!! :) I am so excited to share this secret. Before going for that run, tap your toes 20-25 times - this warms up the shin and prevents that pain we all dread the next day!! Let me know if this works for you. I could never run before. Add some upper body weights and lower body leg lifts. Those muscles you build will help burn calories even when you are resting. I use those 100 calories snacks for those times when I am craving chocolate and just need a treat. For a filler snack, try the cheese bites and triscuits (7 in a serving), drink w/ a glass of water and it tides me over. Good luck.

Snacks - I love snacks. How about a hard boiled egg and peanuts/almonds? Or my favorite is celery sticks with peanut butter. Have you tried the cheese bites with crackers - yum.
