exactly this. Great post. I could not have written it better.
-
exactly this. i usually pre-log everything until supper time. then the left over calories go for the supper and the evening snack.

Congrats. Running an first 5K is a huge accomplishment.:flowerforyou: So glad for you! Keep up the good work!
-
congrats. :flowerforyou: your first week done. you should be proud of yourself!:drinker: i run 2-3 x a week. and i need a day rest in-between, to have a proper recovery time.

Thanks for sharing your awesome "success" story so far. Because to me, YES, you are a truly inspiring sucess story.

it is even better in person. (was there in 2010). The picture does not even reflect how beautiful and majestic it is!

and i thought our winter 2008 in montreal, was the top of snow accumulation. (snow storm after snow storm!!!! sometimes 2 in the same week).
-
lol. a week ago was under 30 cm of snow. so i hear you...
-
agree.
-
congrats. you did it:flowerforyou: :drinker: .i am glad for you  you don't have to run the entire 5k race .You can do interval (ex.: run 5-10 min walk 1min). The purpose of a 5K for a beginner is, I think, simply to convince ourself we can do it. People from every shape every fitness level doing it. Just the fact…

you look amazing. thanks for sharing.
-
Awesome. You can be proud of yourself.:flowerforyou: Speed comes with time, miles and intervalls (or fartlek)!!! For now, just keep adding the miles and you will get faster. Have you considered continuing with B210K? It will keep you running and help you with building miles endurance.

nice post and advice. exactly how i think: this is not a diet this is a lifestyle. So if you don't expect to cut something you like for forever (which you won't), then don't . Just allows it in your daily macros. I eat chocolate everyday bc i just can't live without it!!! But i make sure i fit into my macro. And start by…

My Running club has definitely a huge part of my success to become a runner. It helps me accountable even when it is cold /dark ...or too humid!!! So as Plexgut suggest finding a running club in your area is great advice. Too bad there is no "running room/coin des coureurs " stores in your area bc these stores do have…

agree. Run for fun. just for the pleasure of knowing you can do it. that is so much an accomplishment in itself. So many people don't even try it. So you are almost at the end of the program, it means you are good at it. so just keep going at your own pace and don't compare yourself with others (they might be runners for…

agree. speed comes with mileage. you cannot increase speed AND miles at the same time. i suggest concentrating more on time endurance (miles) than speed.
-
as Plexgut said: congrats to you all of you to have started this c25k. this is the best program to get you running without noticing it!
-
congrats, you are almost there. just keep running and yes you will be able to run a 5K.
-
wow. truly inspirationl. thanks for sharing your story.

i start "eating consciously " in july this year. my goal was to lose weight of course just like everybody else. but something change over the past few months. i actually started to like my new "diet" because i decided there was no more forbidden food or any bad foods. just need to eat according to what you want but... in a…

exactly this. i do not even bother looking at sugars in MFP bc i p y attention where my sugars come from and i am always over the line. so i stopped using this. Carbs are more important and even there it really depends where it comes from (carbs from veggies are excellent, carbs from white bread not so much). Protein is…

i started running last year september 2012 and i am addicted  to "runner's high" since then. I did not do c25k or bridge 5 to 10K. But i run with running club twice a week (and 1 day by myself 8-10k ). Feel free to add me.

agree. bilateral breathing is a must learn . by breathing every 3 breath (alternte) you will breath more efficiently (less often) and will be less tired quickly.

Actually you should aim for 0.8-1.2g of protein for 1kg of your body weight. And to increase proteins try adding salmon (tons of protein), tuna in can ( i like tuna salad clover leaf---> yummy) and greek yogurt 0%. 1cup (175g) of Liberté (Canada) - 0% Plain Greek Yogurt gives 100 cal6g carbs 0 fat AND 18g proteins. If you…
