  • I'm Elly Lieva @ Up, feel free to add me too :) I already added some people from the topic. Which is your favourite Jawbone? I love the UP Move since it doesn't have to be on my wrist. I can't stand anything in my wrists... Lately I've been thinking about getting an UP3 though. Do you think the upgrade's worth it?
  • I totally love Body Pump! The burn really depends on how much you lift and all the repetitions are not quite as easy as they seem. I've done a lot of crossfit-style workouts previously, but I had a major muscle ache during my first few weeks of Body Pump. It really can be something else. It's funny though when new guys…
  • Leggings, sports bra and top, sport socks, trainers, travel sized hair conditioner and shower gel, flip flops, a towel, deodorant. My comb, lipgloss and lock are already a permanent fixture in my handbag. Luckily hairdriers are available at the gym. I usually just put everything for the gym in a cloth bag, it's a bit more…
  • I'm totally in! My goal is to train no more than 4 times per week and improve my technique and breathing. This week I've done 2x Body Pump, 1x Body Combat and 1x HIIT. I will do either Body Combat or Body Balance on Sunday to send off the week with a blast. Body Pump is going great, I am lifting more than some of the more…

  • Hey all! I am also new to LCHF, got hooked up thanks to a colleague who is a bit of a 'diet doctor' fan (yes, you can google diet doctor). I am on day 3, so nothing to brag about yet. I have been doing MFP for a while, since I migrated from FatSecret due to the richer international food database over here. I know that…
  • Law (Business/EU/energy)... I've been dragging my feet with my Master's, I technically should have graduated a year ago.
  • Belvita chocolate breakfast biscuits (with lots of fibres) Cherry tomatoes Strawberries/raspberries/apple/other seasonal fruit
  • I started with Vbarre classes when I was about 88kg (195lbs), which was painful but doable. With the foresight of having tried Tae Bo, Pilates and Zumba, I would recommend Zumba, since it feels like a party and gives you the chance to do things your way. However, walking is also an awesome idea. I would also recommend…
  • I always take plenty of healthy snacks (carrots, radish, cherry tomatoes, apples, etc) and a packed lunch box with me. Eating at odd hours is more manageable when you have options :-) I wish I could say I also avoid takeout at work, but that's not really the case. Best advice I can give is know what you eat and be…
  • Every morning, it's my start-of-the-day ritual. I admit I tend to drink a lot of water during the day, and not much in the evening/night, so water weight can be tricky for me, but I like looking at the graph and knowing I am going in the right direction, even when it is a (very) slow process :-)
