a heart rate monitor! :) they have really complex ones and pretty simple ones. i have one for your wrist that was $60 at Academy but i know they can run upwards of $100, it just depends on how much stuff you want it to do. good luck!

my boyfriend and I go see his parents every weekend and his mom CAN COOK. she cooks 3 meals a day, usually belgian waffles or homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and lunch and dinner both have dessert. (somehow shes not fat either!) I cheat on WHAT i eat, obviously, but I eat small portions to make sure I'm staying…

i used to wear a regular bra under a tight spots bra. but now i wear TITLE 9. i love them. they're so great i'd wear them out if they werent constantly getting all gross and sweaty. pricey but worth it :)

I was having this probelm too. I added sugar to my diary and deleted it a few days later after going over EVERY day by lunchtime when I'd only eaten a yogurt and an apple. I did some looking around and theres a difference between naturally ocurring sugars and added sugars, but MFP doesnt differentiate between them. Id love…

100 cal packs or even the single servings size bags are great because then when theyre gone youre done! indulge a little :) if you dont you'll gorge yourself and feel like crap.

A lot of my friends do weight watchers, its basically the same as MFP, only you pay for it and you get a points calculator. If MFP's working for you then I would just stick to it!

if I go to subway I stick to a 6inch oven roasted chicken on wheat with lettuce and sweet onion sauce, I get it toasted and it DELISHHH. i could eat it every day. also, i havent tested this but as far as fast food - kids meals are probably the best bet. its closer to the right portion size - right?

Well Im 4 weeks into the program - but Ive been doing it for 5 weeks. I repeated the first week twice because I didnt feel ready to move up to the more intense workouts. I found that if I take my rest day on Saturday then I usually have shorter workouts on Friday and Sunday - which works better for me. ALso, if Im really…

I also tried jillian and had to stop because it bothered my knees so much. I thought about trying it again now that I have been working out steadily for about a month but Im not sure.

The first time I lost weight I didnt see it, so I never felt better about myself. I really think thats part of the reason I gained my weight back. I promised myself that this time I will give myself credit where credit is due! pat yourself on the back and know that you are doing a good job and looking great!

I know this is a little late, hopefully my advice is still worht it. My mom turned me on to her turbofire program - I think its a step lower in itensity but its still pretty tough. I started it three weeks ago (before i joined the site) and have lost 8.5 pounds with no extreme dieting. and chalene is fun and extremely…

I do too! Im glad im not the only one. I feel like I can keep better track of how my eating habits affect my weight. I just started MFP - but even before I only logged on Fridays.

depending on what I ate before I work out I sometimes feel dizzy or lightheaded towards the end or after my workout. It was really just trial and error for me - I had to figure out what I could eat and how long before to sustain me through my workout. I'm not someone who does well working out on an empty stomache.

radicalreader - that sounds great! i love things like that, thanks for the idea

might -- i cooked a recipe from allrecipes.com tonight and i really enjoyed it. my only question is how do you keep track of the calories and everything in these recipes or anything else that you make from scratch? none of the ones i looked at had nutritional information listed. im new to the site so i havent figured it…
