  • Hi. I am a little uncertain about your question. When you say "it wanted a 400 calorie deficit..." are you looking at the Up app or MFP? Did you set up your MFP and Up apps per the instructions given in other posts in this forum? The Up app establishes a calorie deficit based on your current weight vs goal weight. Mine is…
  • This. I had to log into MFP with a computer to do this. I find the iphone MFP app a pain to navigate. You have to give permission for both apps to synch individually. Also, there is a group for Up users. You may want to check that out.
  • I also do this when I am shopping. Pushing a cart stops the natural swing of the arm that logs steps. I put my Up on my ankle- or even just tuck it into my boot and it logs the steps more accurately.
  • Sorry, check that- it took some time for my Up to synch and I have now gained back the -143 calories, plus 70 more for a total +213 calories. Lesson learned. Give it time to synch properly.
  • Agreed. I just got my Up24 and I'm still learning how to use it. I find it odd that MFP showed a -47 calorie adjustment before my 3Km walk and -143 calorie adjustment after. Seems backwards to me...?
