I workout at 4:30 AM... My son woke up sick at 6:30. Thanks for the advice everybody.

Thank you!

I'd like to get healthy calories not Dairy Queen calories thanks

My nutritionist said 1% chocolate milk is in her opinion one of the best post workout things, so I drink a glass each morning!

I'd do both and put some peanut or almond butter on the toast. I had whole wheat toast with peanut butter and a banana today

Awesome suggestions I think I'll get some almonds for sure! And boil some eggs :)

What is tahini? I've never heard of that. Thanks for the suggestions!

Also try eating smaller amounts more often. Your body can only use so many calories, carbs, etc at one time and what it can't burn off is turned into fat. Try 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day.

Instead of Hamburger Helpers I make my own skillets, that way I can pick and choose what to use, such as whole grain pasta or rice instead. I made a hamburger skillet last night with whole grain rice, diced tomatoes, and peas and it wasn't close to 300 calories. Then you can add more fresh fruits or veggies to get the…

Thanks! Yes they told me to eat between 1500 and 2000 calories and just eating raw natural stuff was making that very difficult to reach! I've already lost weight in just these 2 weeks so I think I will keep doing what I'm doing. It seems to be working, and this is a marathon not a sprint!

Thank you all for your responses! All the seminar did was really leave me overwhelmed. I got a book containing fats I should and shouldn't eat, grains I should and shouldn't eat, sugars I should and shouldn't eat... I was told dinner should be my lowest calorie meal of the day. I've gotten it close to or under lunch but I…

Oh yea he will eat sweet potatoes  But now when I give him cubed veggies/chicken/pieces of hamburger he'll put it in his mouth, take it back out and try to give it back. If we won't take it he tosses it to the floor and laughs... I don't want to put him to bed hungry, so I usually resort to some Cheerios and yogurt,…

I like chocolate Special K, and sometimes for a snack I pack some chocolate cheerios. I also love the chocolate SMART protein shakes!

Thanks for the recipe idea! Yea I definitely don't want to do something he doesn't like all of the time... Maybe I could make something I want to try when I know we have enough leftovers for him to heat up if he doesn't like what I made! Then it's kind of a win win situation, plus, the leftovers don't go bad in the fridge…

Thanks! I do use whole wheat pasta about 75% of the time and he's fine with that. He doesn't like ground turkey at all, I've tried it in a few different things. As for the hamburger, we get our hamburger from my dad. He's a cattle farmer, and butchers his own beef. Every time he butchers a cow, he gives us half of it. I…

I don't have an answer for the low impact video, but I do feel your pain about not being able to say no. I hope everything works out in your favor!

How do you get the Zucchini to be like noodles? I've only ever made Zucchini bread, so I am not real familiar with zucchini

Thanks for the ideas!

My apologies for not being as knowledgeable as you are.... I guess I was meaning more of the grains, such as pastas, breads, etc. I know fruits have carbs too! Perhaps you could make me a carb list?

Great information love the olive oil suggestion! Never heard of ghee before but I might be checking that out also! Thanks for all the advice

Thanks everybody! So now another question... The reason I don't like butter is because it is so hard to spread! What can I do to help with this? Leave it out for a bit before using it?
