  • Stay will it, 10 pounds in 4 months is pretty good! Try more fiber by eating fresh foods and cutting out sugar and processed foods as much as possible.

My scale WILL NOT budge, but even though I've gained 20+ pounds over six months (due to medication issues) I still wear the same size (due to weight training and Zumba!).   • Advice: Just feel the music and have fun! It's about moving! Once you do that the rest will come, I promise. My instructor lost 80 lbs doing only Zumba. Let us know how you felt after the class!

  • GREAT Q! That has been on my mind too. On cardio days, I have wiggle room, but still try to stay at my 1200 cal allowance. On weights days I'm much hungrier, I don't see how to get my calories burned from lifting, so I tend to be a smidge over the 1200 on those days....anyone have thoughts on that?

  • TOO MUCH protein can also be hard on your liver if your liver functions are down. Follow up with your doctor for annual blood work to make sure everything is functioning as it should.
