  • I've been 10lbs away from where I want to be for about 6 months now it seems. I mentioned before in other threads I've also gained a couple pounds. I'm trying to be more diligent in eating my fat and tracking and seeing where that takes me. I've also started lifting and running more consistently and that always seems to…
  • Keep going! Drop the weight or work in form. Ignore your pride! I did the 5x5 program consistently for a year a couple years back and was doing fantastic. Work and moving away disrupted it. Now I'm back at it and back down at an embarrassingly low weight. BUT I'm doing it to make sure my form is perfect, supporting muscles…
  • We just got a smoker. Super excited to try it out!
  • 5 months. Then the last 3 I've slowly gained. Yeah, I wasn't concerned at first bc of my increased activity, but after I started gaining (7lbs) I became concerned. I'm hoping to figure out what's wrong and fix it. Right now I'm making sure I eat my fat and keep my protein where it should be and back to measuring cream and…
  • Our percentages are the same too! I'm hoping to get out of this stall. Argh.
  • I probably shouldn't have done this...but after talking with a few people I might be having imbalances due to my increased activity level and eating at a 'sedentary' lifestyle. The lowest calories possible. So I went one level up to 'lightly active', which have me an extra 100ish or 200 ish calories. I do try to run 2- 3 x…
  • The same thing is happening to me. I've been doing this for a year now. By fall things slowed down and I only had 10lbs to lose. By Christmas it stopped completely. Granted, I started a new job and started to run and lift weight regularly and my inches were about the same. So I wasn't concerned. Fast forward to march, I've…
  • I'll try the low and slow method with a recipe I'm playing with now :S
  • Where I'm from, breaded is usually the way they're served. They only seem to be unbreaded on wing nights. It would be nice to have a local place where they're always bare.
  • I just discovered hemp seeds! Lol I like to get in a lot of fiber. It just makes me feel better in general. I eat chia seeds and flax seeds. Broccoli and salads help too. Flat out wraps have 10 grams of fiber...but I think 9 net carbs? If you have enough space for carbs. And don't forget avacado, it's an amazing fruit.
  • It happens. Just keep on track and it will go away after your period. Some months might be worse than others, just depends on what you eat (carb levels, salt) and hormone levels. But if you're doing everything right (no cheating), just be assured that it's only water.
  • Hmmm I curl my toes a bit too when I run. I guess I'll keep my nails short and try not to curl it (which sounds really weird when I write it out).
  • It's not wrong, if you can drink it (like I do) And not get crazy cravings, then go for it. It's a nice treat to be able to have. Zevia is a pop sweetened with stevia if you want something without aspartame.
  • Yes. Please don't forget your helmet.
  • I run ! Always trying to improve and learning more and more everyday! I would love to have more running friends on my feed too, so feel free to add me.
  • Thanks for that! Not as funny though. ;)
  • Thank you so much for that! Lol
  • ×plop plop× For people who can/ want to eat plant sourced fibres, I'd recommend chia seeds and flax seeds; easy to bring along while travelling too. Flatout wraps, if you have a higher carb limit and no allergies and of course other sources of roughage like spinach, broccoli...etc...Hydration is also very important.…
  • I agree with what others say. Do what works for you. But, anything under 50 net carbs should be fine (again, individual). I measure in net carbs, if that helps. :p Btw, I always get hungrier around that time of the month. I'm always wanting to stuff My face. So in those cases...I make sure to have tea to drink and gum to…
  • Welcome back! You got this ! :)
  • I just learned recently about IF. I'm thinking about starting with 16:8, which would place me with breakfast at 8AM and supper at 4PM. That mimics my natural eating habits best. I don't know if you need to go longer or not? I see so many different IF ways, do you just play around until you find something that works with…
  • I'm always looking for new friends! Feel free to add me and anybody else who wants to add me! Tonight, I'll try to remember to open up my diary (if it's closed)....I forget :)
  • Chia seeds, flax seeds and psyllium husks are all good sources of fiber. Flatout bread has 10 grams of fiber and leafy greens and broccoli are also other good sources!
  • @AlexandraCarlyle Braver than me...lol
  • @AlexandraCarlyle Thank you so much for explaining it for me! I use my phone app and I couldn't find what you were talking about until I went on my computer. I guess I'll just have to use my computer if I need to post a picture or two. :P My pizza made from chicken.....(for my husband, a little too many calories in this…

  • You can feel like crap the next day a lot easier! I still enjoy red wines. Sometimes I mix it up with diet sprite for a simple sangria! Just keep an eye on carbs....as always. :)

  • Just tried this pizza (the one with a can of chicken)....amazing! And the calorie count is a lot more manageable! Even my husband, who hates canned chicken loved it! I'm super excited to have discovered this. Thank you! These forums really have helped me discover new recipes.
