It drives me crazy too!!! I used to have an app on my Android phone that allowed me to create my own database and nobody would touch it. I haven't found one for Iphone. I might change phones again just for that app! Plus, when you find an item that's accurate, it can be changed afterwards without notice and it's not right…

A few tips that help me to not binge, maybe they can be helpful to you. - Acknowledge the triggers. Mine are boredom and emotionnal pain. When I'm bored out of my mind or in a bad place in my life, chocolate candies are the only thing I can think about. it's really hard to get over it but it's doable. Knowing what triggers…

I wouldn't. I'd drop the doctor though. 900 calories isn't healthy at all. Except extremely critical cases under 24/7 supervision. Maybe. You might actually not being eating ENOUGH as it is. Do you work out?

This is seriously awesome. Complete success story, IMO.

You look fantastic! Both of those dresses are so cute. Great great job!

Awesome job!! 30DS was the first workout DVD I did. Changed my life!

I convert the number of calories in the potential snack into workout minutes to get rid of it. Always keeps away from sugar loaded crap! One hour and a half on the treadmill, brisk pace with incline to burn Nutella? I don't think so!

- I get on the scale every day, twice a day actually. But official weigh in is Friday morning. I start my "week" with the weekend. That where I do the potential damage and I have a few days to set the record straight, get rid of water weight and so on. The numbers on the scale are way "nicer" now than when I went on it on…

Sounds to me it's been caused by the rubbing. When I was 17yo, and the changes induced by puberty were about to be achieved, I started to have rubbing thighs. Up to the point of bleeding. I can't walk with naked thighs, no matter how many pounds I lose. It's caused by bone structure. Anyway, I noticed, at that time some…

Everyone felt helpless at some point. At least, when we started. I agree with what's been said above, it's a lifelong journey, not a quick fix. Take it one decision at a time. Have a look at all the success stories here and you'll see that everything is possible. Basically, you just have to start....something. Either it's…

Seems like emotionnal eating. Been there, done that. It's awful. You have to know that the more you give in to sugar temptation, the stronger it becomes. I (kind of) know the science behind that but would have trouble to explain it in English. (Not my first language. Not even the second for that matter!) Anyway, there is a…

First, congratulations on the great great loss. Even if you regained 7lbs, that still is 57lbs gone! HUGE victory. Second, if you regained weight, that means it's been lost in the first place. Hence, it can be lost again. You obviously know what works for you. Third, remember this is a lifelong journey, not just a quick…

Hello ladies! I'm not over 50 but on on a health journey too. I've found this post recently from a 54yo. She's the ultimate inspiration! If any of you is struggling or wondering about age being an issue, please check it out! http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10153839/obesity-to-omg-one-woman-s-journey/p1 Have…

That much cardio on 1100 calories a day is a very bad idea, in my opinion. Regardless on your stats. You didn't gain muscles with what you did: that much of a deficit, a lot of cardio for ONE week. A lot of things can explain such a 'small' loss (TOM? Water retention? Constipation?...) but it's a loss. Goal weight is NEVER…

I have no words. You're the ultimate role model. Great job!!

I don't diet. I eat according to my goals.

I love a swim but I find public pools to be disgusting most of the time. I swim in the ocean on vacation and will make swimming a part of my workouts routine as soon as I own a private pool. (Meaning not in 2015)

If it's a genuine question by someone who really wants to know, I explain how portion control works, calories in/out and that I need to count, at least for now. If it's someone who was set to judge from start, I just say that "I'm weird that way" with the smile and move on. Anyway, since the pounds started to obviously…

Yes! And I hated it for a very long time. Then, I decided that I didn't care about the number on my scale and focused on how I looked. Changed everything and my body actually let go of that "set weight"!

First, this cake seems like heaven on Earth. Second, yeah it actually helped to spend three days on chocolate. Weird but true. I still have cravings, I still love chocolate more than I love people sometimes but I don't feel like it could be enough anymore. I KNOW I want/need healthy food. And it made me realise how much I…

It actually changed something. I still have cravings from time to time when I'm bored or upset. But I never felt again like I could survive on it. I KNOW I would miss healthy food. Huge change.

I used to tell my doctor: "I swear I could live off chocolate candies." He answered: "Did you try?". And then, told me to not eat anything but chocolate candies for a week. I outgrew the concept after 3 days. I was bored as hell and my body was demanding for vegetables.

This thing is so awfully tasty!! I don't know the evil mind who's actually behind Nutella but he owe all of us a big apology. I could steal a kid's treat while passing in the streets if I'd smell Nutella. And they'd better not try to resist.

Everyone is accepted here. You'll get people who don't agree with WLS (I do think it's avoidable most of the time but I don't judge). And they will tell you their mind. You'll get people who went through it too. For better or for worse. You can share that. And you'll find people to agree and disagree with you about…

Hell yeah! Clothes related: - I want to fit into any knee high boots I see - I want to rock leather shorts that are currently waiting in my closet with the tag still on - Fit into a size 8 (US) jeans that I wore ONE TIME (and barely survived the day without breathing) - I have a size M very hot bandage bathing suit that's…

Lifting and still way curvy. It can be done. Go without fear!
