I can't believe people still do that! Come on!! IMO, this kind of stupidity says a hell of a lot more about them than about how you actually look.

Holy cow! Biggest NSV ever! I went to my dad's house on Saturday to pick up some items to go skiing next weekend. Mainly socks and gloves and glasses. I opened the box with all the ski stuff in it and found my old ski suit. Like OLD. Like 14 years ago old. I didn't even know my dad had kept it, considering that I'd only…

This is seriously awesome. You look so much more unfazed and happy!

That is seriously awesome.

It happened to EVERYONE at least once. And it is possible to bounce back. You'll do it. Here's to a fabulous March!

So true. And I love the "metaphorical garbage disposal" analogy. This is exactly how it feels like!

From my experience, binging happens when I feel like I've already fell off the wagon. It's a "I'll never make any progress anyway. Might as well eat the entire pantry" kind of mindset. It is way harder to break free from this than it is to simply eat well and exercise. One of the key is to acknowledge your triggers (mine…

The mental/emotionnal part of overeating, binging, lazyness and so on is a key to your success. And actually, the mistakes we make because of the emotionnal part of the journey are priceless. When you fell of the wagon once, you know how much harder it is to get back on it than it would have been to stay on it. Everything…

Three possible outcomes here. One, they come back crawling a few months/weeks later saying that they've gained all the weight back and then some and can't eat anything without gaining anymore and telling everyone they're back at it because they "can do this, it worked once". Two, they come back and ask advice about a…

BMI evaluates the level of health of someone using their height and weight. A lot of people, including me, think it's unrelevant in the long run. You can have two people with the same BMI, one will be healthy, the other less healthy, due to muscles mass. But, to start, it might be wise to aim for a goal in a healthy BMI…

When I picked UGW, it was out of considerations such as BMI, "dream weight", "lowest weight I can remember being at", "thin girl supposed weight" and so on. I then educated myself and, even though I can't shake a lifetime addiction to the scale yet, I do not have an actual goal weight anymore. I have a weight that I'd love…

I weigh everything I eat. But only what I eat not what's gonna be end up in the trash. For example, if you eat a grapefruit, more than half the weight comes from the peel! As for logging, I only only only use the entries than count in grams. "One small apple" or "one medium banana" don't mean anything to me.

Thanks for your answer and you don't need to apologize. You've done all the work!! Sorry to ask something again. I've add my name and today's walk but it didn't count my 'total' and 'to goal'. I'm pretty good with excel spreadsheet but didn't want to touch anything and correct it without your permission. Can you have a…

My name disappeared!! :( Can I add again without creating a whole mess?

Just joigned! Great idea!

Great job!!!! I worship the ground Jillian walks on. If you do the work, she delivers amazing results!

August 2015 is Ultimate Goal Weight Month! As August 2015 will mark the 20th anniversary of my first diet. It was forced upon me at 14 years old by some family members and started years and years of binges, self-loathing, crash diets and led me to 198lbs. When I WASN'T fat at all to start with. Just hitting puberty. This…

It all starts somewhere. Great job!

Awesome job!!!!! You can be proud of yourself!

I sooo know what you mean. I tend to sabotage myself every single time I reach a specific low weight. 70kg (154lbs) is a trigger for me. It's been going on for 15+ years. It's completely related to my own story. I've identified the triggers and I know now why it's happening. Unless you get to the roots of why YOU're doing…

I couldn't agree more about the FB thing. I highly control what gets published on my name. Two things: 1- go to settings/privacy, you'll find an option that makes everyone ask for your consent before they tag you. It doesn't keep the pictures to get published but you won't be linked to them. 2- Congrats on starting your…

This gonna change your life. Period.

To me, exercise is actual exercise. A walk, a run, a lifting session, dance class, yoga, tennis game, bike ride and so on. Everything else is just life. Even if I sweat. I would not log a cleaning session, not matter how much my home sparkles after it. Some people log the calories burned while cooking. I don't get that one…

I have no word. You look completely awesome. Three things come too mind: I love, love, love your hair. Your bikini pic is everything to be proud of and your figure is an inspiration to me. Don't take this the wrong way but I'm a tiny bit jealous you get to keep your boobs. Keep on doing whatever it is your doing, this…

Don't care about angles and lighting. You look hot in your after picture and that what matters! Great job!

Wow! Your waist!!! Great job!
