I haven't read the article but I have found in the past that lack of sleep definitely affects my weight loss. As Robert Ludlum was fond of saying "Sleep is a weapon."

I have a bichon/maltese mix and feed him Wellness Small Breed. He loves it and it's significantly cleared up the tear-staining around his eyes. I also give him raw veggies (he LOVES lettuce and broccoli) and some fruit during the week. Sometimes he gets tuna and other meats as well.

Awww, thank you!! Aren't you sweet! I was thinking my numbers were pretty 'bottom of the barrel' at the moment. But I'm enjoying it and I'm making progress so I'm happy. I won't even tell you what my Overhead and Bench Presses are...unless you need a good laugh ;).

I wasn't saying 'fat makes you fat'. I was comparing a 900 calorie meal to a 240 calorie meal. Maybe you ought to read more carefully, or better yet, ask for clarification before jumping down someone's throat.

To see the calories burned, press 'Mode' until you are in "HRM" mode. Then press 'View' to cycle through the info collected during your workout. Calories burned is in the third info set.

I am 49, post cancer, post menopausal (thank you chemo) and 2 1/2 yrs in on Tamoxifen. Doc says Tamoxifen makes weight loss very difficult. I'm out to prove him wrong. Cancer took a year of my life. It can't have any more. I'm going to be in the best shape of my life by my 50th birthday. Failure is not an option.

Hi Tony, I had posted this in one of the groups but haven't gotten a reply and wonder if you could give me your opinion... A little background: I am what some folks refer to as skinny fat. I weigh 135 right now, look just fine in clothes as long as it's jeans and long sleeves. I don't do shorts cuz it's darned scary! LOL…
