Totally depends on what you are eating. If you eat crap then you look like crap, if you eat right then you look right. you will still lose weight if you eat back your calories but you have to eat good food.

Good Idea, planning each day in the morning. I have done that in part, but not in full.

Yes I use my droid....but it is becoming crazy, I go out and all I can think about is let me grab my phone and put this food in so I can see if it is okay. I too know if I am doing healthy or un-healthy. I am just tired of the worry. Like I have these great snacks, but I actually have to count out how many....uggg. I also…

Totally understand and sure taking a few days "off" is fine, like you said don't go crazy or anything. I don't think the goal of MFP is for you to log your calories for the rest of your life, it is a tool to help you learn the right portions and how to eat better. Have fun and stay conscious about your choices.

when someone won't take responsibility for their own actions. If you did it, you did it, if you didn't, you didn't! LOL

Well, I don't think they "roll over", but I think that we just need to have a spike day or bad day, what ever you want to call it. It's okay to have a day that isn't as good as the others. As long as you are at least eating a little over 1,000 a day because under that is not healthy. I am sure you will get some interesting…

Some would say start from scratch, but it is for tonight so, use one jar of Ragu, but spice it up with some italian seasoning, add your lean ground beef and what ever veggies you like such as onion and peppers. I always put a little splenda in to cut the acid. Then you can either use regular noodles or whole wheat ones.…

you could pre-make something in the evening for the next days lunch. Maybe broiled skinless chicken over a bed of salad greens with cucumber and cheese. Or whole wheat bread with peanutbutter with apple. Hope this helps.

Try a spike day. Eat over your calories but do it with good food. You may gain a pound or two for a few days but then you will lose again and do better.

For the most part I have done well with cleaning it up. I do cook and make better choices and I know I will get better. Most important is that I am working on it and have come a good way in my thinking and changing. It sure isn't easy, as I do love food and have used food as a crutch. Thanks to eveyone for the advice. Keep…

Yes he is feeling a little off right now because of your weight loss. I would talk to him and let him know that you are not doing this for him or anyother man. You are doing this for you! Keep up the good work. Do not let any of this get in your way of being healthy. Life is hard enough and being healthy is good. My…

First I think you have to really really want to do this. I know myself that I was not really wanting it for a while so I didn't even try. Second you have got to eat. Your body is going to hold on to all the fat cells because of not eating enough. It's hard and I know it, trust me. Feel free to add me as a friend and we can…

thanks I will keep this in mind if I choose to drink wine.

thanks so much for your input! Could always use more help in living better.

It helps, but is not a magic formula. If it makes you more alert and clear then keep it up!

Okay great, I will give that a shot, at least try it with my whole grain cheerio's first. Then maybe try it as my coffee creamer for my one cup. I don't know if I will ever be a full on "clean" eater, but I sure can be a better eater.

okay, I cook just about everyday. When dining out I do now look hard at what the choices are and choose a lot better then I use to. I drink a fair amount of water, at least my 8 glases, but sometimes still crave a diet pepsi. I do try to eat 6 times a day and streach my calories out. I always eat breakfast and have had a…

For protein, chocolate milk is a good one. I also like protein shakes, I do Organic peanutbutter, one tablespoon cocoa with some vanilla for sweetening 1 cup of milk and a banana... pretty natural and high in protein. You can also do protein shakes, these may be better than bars. But personally I LOVE my protein bars. as…

Actually I love the Smucker's one....so that one is better than the others. I will change to that then. It is really good.

Are you drinking lots of water? Yes I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I have been eating the Atkins bars to help the protien intake, being a Gbypass patient I need a lot of protien. Nuts are hard for me to digest. Any ideas on that, I am eating peanutbutter but think I should go to a natural one. I tried Almond…

Most Pasta boxes tell you cooked.

I agree with Jessica. Do what your body needs not your mind! Easy to say but hard to do! Good luck!
-
No worries....don't weigh everyday. Pick a day and stick to it! You are suppose to have a fun day!

Awesome! Keep it going! I have now hit 17 days.....we are on our way! YaY for you, Yay for us!

Keep the lose going and then alter as close to the wedding as possible! Good luck!

Most overweight people are food addicted. I think about food all the time too, however I plan everything now. I even plan my dinner in the morning. I stick to it too. I have been on MFP for 15 days and have only gone off track one time. I just gave in and sometimes you just have got to give in. Don't give up stay focused…

My mother use to make peel a pound soup...cabbage and V8 and salt and pepper I think. I think just finding healthy food is good, soup all the time may get old.
