I stopped looking at it as work & decided I wanted this for life ... Literally it was this so I could stop the cycle of heart disease & diabetes in my family!

I agree that you already know why you are on the plateau. Stress, poor eating & no exercise is the key. Speaking from experience ... Once you start taking care of you, you will have an easier time taking care of your parents. It will get harder for you to be successful the longer you wait!

I've been at this for 555+ days & dig into a bakery item at least three times a week. I think it's what has kept me on track all along. Hmmm I wonder how a Godiva cupcake would taste right about now!

I started it too soon in my journey& ended up hurting myself. Got thru it & did the routine successfully. Now 100 pounds lighter, I still find myself going back to it!

I didn't limit myself at all. If I wanted to do the exercise I did. C25K was a great driver for me because I had friends who were doing it, too. The majority of my workouts were at home, both inside & out.

I drink 6 servings of regular waters and add 4-6 flavored servings per day. Lost 100 so far without any problems!

I could only pray that I'd be able to fulfill his every want and dream. I'd pray to have a relationship like my friend who tragically lost her husband at 30 years old. She left nothing on the table with him before he passed on.

Look on other websites to find a consistent caloric burn for your weight. You can enter the calories burned instead of using MFP

I walked up 20 steps and found it difficult to catch my breath. Yesterday I walked up 10 flights like nothing!

My mother had a massive stroke at a young age leaving her physically & mentally challenged. I do not want that for me or my children.

I have to preplan all my meals or I get out of control (as it has been for the past two weeks). I pack lots of variety from veggies, fruits, sandwiches and soups. Works for me when I do it!

I recommend doing some preplanning & spreading the calories out thru your day. I do better with weight loss when I eat a solid breakfast. However, if I had more calories I'd eat more protein and fruit then top it off with my favorite snack of all times ... Popcorn!

If I workout I can eat & lose ... If I don't, I gain. MFP works if you stick with it & make it as a way of life. Don't make it a diet.

I ate the calories & lost weight ... Don't let the high count scare you! I recommend talking to your doctor rather tan relying on nonprofessional advise. Make this lifelong meaning don't view it as a diet & restrict yourself. I love cake so if I want it, I eat it then deal with balancing my exercise & caloric intake around…

I changed mine to a higher but unrealistic weight in my 30's ... I now weigh less!

I rarely get a chance to eat before 8:00 and I'm doing fine. I believe your body will get use to the routine!
