  • We all plan to avoid regular weigh-in's but it's really easier said than done. You have lost 207 so far, that's a feat most dream of. Also keep in mind that strength training will cause weight gain as muscle mass increases, but fat will continue to reduce.
  • Few things are harder than staying away from alcohol. Even after you have succeeded in self discipline, your friends are there and ready to make you fail. I know first hand cause i've tried to stay away from alcohol, my friends did enough to make me become a bad influence on myself.
  • A dumbbell would do just fine. However, running with weights is only recommended for short distances as running is already a high impact activity. Weights would also affect your natural balance so you would be forcing your arms to swing synchronously with your legs. It might actually harm you if you do not master it.
