Just a touch of milk ...like an 1/8 C. No sweetners.

Or it could just be sitting on a hard toilet seat for 45 minutes cut of your circulation.

Not sure on the scale, I'm using one I purchased from Pampered Chef; seems to work for what I need so far. For the HRM I have a Polar FT4 and absolutely love it. Watch for sales, but they run $70-$80.

The only thing I would add to DahnaLane's instructions is to steam it or boil it until it is really done if you are using a so so blender. The first time I made it my cauliflower wasnt' soft enough and my cheap blender had problems blending it. It is wonderful though!

Boy did your heading grab my attention. That is so my body! I have been walking for 6 months; and have noticed a little bit of change; but just started Jillian's 30 Day Shred and doing some yoga or pilates as they are supposed to stretch and lengthen those muscles. Hoping for better results now.

Just started it today. Worried if I will be able to walk tomorrow. LOL I have never been able to do push ups even when I was in school. I was physically fit, just push up incapable. So my goal is to build my arm strength and somehow be able to do the push ups.

Don't be scared to wake up your Mom. As a mom, I would be more upset if you didn't and it turned out to be something serious. Please don't mess around and wait. Have it checked out!

That is a wonderful NSV. Shows you are both learning from your experience!

It all depends on how you set up your profile. I set mine up as sedentary (i'm an office worker) and that I wanted to lose 1 lb a week. I stated I didn't plan on exercising. I try and eat at least 1200 calories (not usually a problem) but if I do work out; I try and eat at least half of those calories (you will get many…

Welcome! You came to the right site; everyone here is so postive. I too am trying to lose baby weight. I give you credit for doing it right away; my babies are 22 and 19. So much harder to lose after it has set on this many years; but I'm doing it, and you can too! Good Luck!

Definetly see a difference! You are doing great!

I absolutely weigh or measure whenever I can. Besides being more accurate; the more you do the more accurate you can be at guessing when you go out to dinner.

Zig Zag is just a way to "trick" your body into thinking it's not really on a diet; because you have low calorie and high calorie days. You still burn the same number of calories in a week; but instead of say 1400 calories each day; some days you might only have 1200 and others you may have 1600. Here is a site if you want…

I agree with you, the normal day to day I don't count. I used to sit on the couch all night too. Now when I mow the lawn instead of jumping on the riding lawn mower I use the push mower and wear an HRM. I count those calories. I spent last weekend cleaning up trees from a storm that went through. I counted those calories.…

I tried it for awhile. I used this site: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm The only thing I noticed was they assume a much higher exercise calorie burn than what I was doing. When I figured out that and lowered the numbers by what I was actually burning it worked well. I quit doing it because I wasn't…

I haven't tried it since I was a child either, but just reading your post has me wondering....I may just put the HRM on today and give it a try. Just wondering what could go horribly wrong when I trip myself up on the rope...50+ doesn't fall gracefully anymore. LOL

Thanks for the tip on the lemon water; i'm going to try that. I don't cook with salt anymore; and I too have noticed when I eat out how salty everything is. Can't stand to order frenchfries anymore! I guess that's a good thing.
-
Thanks everyone for the wonderful suggestions, I do cook alot of my foods from fresh, and don't cook with salt; but I hadn't thought yet about the dressing (don't know why). I look forward to trying your recipes!

I have the Polar FT4 also the strap is stretchy and I have had no problems with it. It does say you should wash them regularly; so I rinse mine out after I use it each time.

You have done fantastic!

Congratulations, you have done an amazing job! I too hope you bought the red dress; it looks great on you!

Found a couple of things that suggest you can have adverse health effects. Acute effects Too much or too little salt in the diet can lead to muscle cramps, dizziness, or electrolyte disturbance, which can cause neurological problems, or death.[34] Drinking too much water, with insufficient salt intake, puts a person at…

So exciting! Everything old is new again! Congratulations.

It sounds like the Time Format is set up when you first set up the watch. It appears as it can't be changed after that. However I found this on the the Polar website. (www.polar.fi/support) I was already at 12 hour so I don't know if this will work or not. They do have an area where you can ask questions; so you might want…

I played with mine a little bit lookig for that setting. Can't seem to find it. I will dig out the manual and see if there is something in there.

My hubby doesn't mind the calorie counting; because he is watching what he eats too, but he gets a little annoyed with how much time I spend on MFP. He can't understand how much support I get here. Honestly, it's better than like family here; the people here actually care and are on the same journey.

Smiling reading all the different takes on the subject. I too look forward to losing more weight in the boobs. Started out 40D (and who knows if that was correct). I'm currently a 38DD and so want to be a 36C again some day.

Then press the lower button again until you get to Watch Time & Date. Press the middle button again to take you into that. Then press the lower button again until you get to Date. Month…
