I lost 42 pounds on here, thought I had a handle on it; and quit logging. Once I made that choice it was all down hill and a year later I had gained it all back and then some. It took me awhile to try again, because I knew how much work it was the first time around. I finally decided the time was now and started again a…

Thanks for the links, I just started strength training and these are great!

Like most have said on here, the more you cook from fresh or scratch, the better chances of lowering the sodium intake. I read some years ago that it takes 30 days to break a habit, so try cutting it way back for 30 days and you will be amazed at what you took as normal will taste so overly salty now. If you like cooking,…

Go with your gut feeling and don't take it. If you are that uncomfortable, it is not the job for you.

Our offices were temporarily housed in an renovated nursing home, that was definitely haunted. I used to work alone alot of nights and weekends, but gave up because of hearing footsteps and voices often. That is my scary ghost happening, but I put angels in the ghosts/spirits bucket and those I consider good happenings. I…

Yes I agree, I have several of the Leslie Sansone's DVD's and love them for a quick cardio walk. I'm also very intrigued with Insantiy and want to try it.

Like so many others here, I just had to tell you that you have an amazing writing talent! Be proud of your weight loss and committment! You have done a fantastic job so far!

This sounds wonderful, I Can't wait to try it!

I love them plain just to eat. I also make guacamole with a little fresh onion, garlic lime juice and pepper and salt to taste. Yesterday I had a couple sitting here and we made BLT's for supper, so I sliced one up and put on the BLT. Yummy.

This sounds delicious! Do you just shred the cooked pork loin and mix it with the Kraut; or do youi cook them together and then shred the pork once it's cooked?

I'm so happy to see the responses here. I'm 5'10" and my goal is 175 which is still 25 lbs away. At that weight I would guess I would be a size 12. I know by the charts I should be 145-150; but I just don't see that anymore. At my thinest in my early 20's I was 135 and people kept asking if I was ill and then wondered if I…

I have used ground turkey for years and still do pretty often. I found a little more spice helps. However, depending on what you are watching, the extra lean ground beef may be better. I found for me I have to watch my sodium more than my calories. Turkey products are much higher in sodium generally.

I don't know if you would consider it tangy or not; but I love this one. The original recipe calls for greek yogurt, but I also use regular yogurt. 6 oz greek yogurt 1/2 c pommegranite or blueberry juice 1 c Frozen berries ( I like a mix of blueberries/blackberries/strawberries) Blend and enjoy. Oops you can also add a…

I would wait awhile. I had mine resized a few years ago when I gained a lot of weight. They charge for the gold they put in; and I paid $80 six years ago and now gold has skyrocketed. I now have lost 25+ and my rings are loose again. And I will have to have them resized down.

**This I have four or five of her DVD's; great walking workout!

I remember party lines ... so fun when you were a kid....not when you were dating. I also remember our house was a long distance number from the school, so we would call collect from the school and ask to speak to ourselves. It was our sign it was time to pick us up at school without having to pay for the long distance…

Bell bottom jeans mid driff tops and of course mini skirts. ha ha I remember the school dress code stated the dress had to be long enough so that if you reached for the top shelf of your locker your underwear couldn't be seen. Oh yeah and earth shoes... your heel was lower than the rest of your foot so you could tone your…

I was so busy laughing because all of these fit, so obviously I'm addicted. I have a reminder each time I start my browser. MFP is listed as "Very Active", then Google is "Active" and Facebook is "Less Active". When my coworkers take my phone away and tell me "for crying out loud just eat and log it later". And the best…
