I find the heavier I am the more weight i have to lose to fit into the next dress size down. I have to lose between 30 to 40lbs to go from a UK size 18 to 16. However, the smaller I become I don't need to lose as much weight to get to next dress size down.

I'm single because: - I keep telling myself that I will start dating again when I am slimmer. Been saying this for years. - I fear rejection because of my weight.. - I'm looking for Mr Perfect who doesn't exist.

Just from a personal point of view because I wouldn't want to be stuck with someone who would take themselves too seriously and be a miserable so and so. I like someone who can do "second degree" humour ie not take things too literally.

Tall, fit and good looking but not really overly muscular. Kind and considerate with a sense of humour. Aggressive guys are a turn off for me. E2A: Intelligent and cultured too!

Hi How about starting off slowly by walking. I hear that walking is a very good form of exercise even though it is underrated. Try incorporating at least 30 minutes per day, 5 times a week of walking into your routine. I usually do this by walking part of the way to work. When I get fitter I think that I might start…

Go for steamed rice instead of fried rice. That will cut out a lot of oil and calories. Avoid deep fried foods and stick to stir fried dishes such as veggies. If you are having dim sum go for the steamed dishes rather than fried.

I could probabaly eat like a dozen or more small bags of crisps (potato chips) in one sitting. I could easily eat 2 large bags of kettle chips. That's probably like 2000 calories or more!

Hello, Well done for getting started again. I just re-started my regime yesterday. You can add me if you want to. Lea

Hello Huskerm, Thanks fo ryour reply. Well done on losing the 20lbs! I've thought about weightwatchers but then thought that I could do this with MFP rather than paying for the service. I will try to send a friend request. Thanks again Lea

Hello jerseygene, Thanks so much for your reply. 25kg is about 4 stonesI think. I already lost almost a stone earlier on in the year but it's so frustrating when you "plateau" and then become discouraged. Yes, I need to see it as a lifestyle change too because just going on a temporary diet is no good for me as I know if I…

Hello Sobeone, Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. 40lbs in 2 months! Well done! Wow that's an inspiration! I'd be hapy to lose half that amount in that time. At the moment I walk about 30 minutes for 3 days a week. I will try to increase that. I will try to send you a friend request. Never done it before so…

I wanted to feel good about myself, to feel attractive again.

I weigh myself everyday to remind me not to overeat. When I don't weigh myself I just let myself get of control. It's part of my whole regime thing.

In 3 months I would like to have lost somewhere between 5 to 7kg. In a year's time I would like to have reached target weight of about 60kg by losing a total of 23kg.

This is what made me pile on 40 odd lbs in the last 7 years. I would have another evening meal after eating my main meal!. When I eventually decided to lose weight this April I stocked up on cucumber and carrot sticks with low fat dips. After having on a diet for 3 months now I don't crave the extra food in the evening. I…

Started at 198 lbs in April this year. Have lost 15 lbs so far. Still have a long way to go. Another 53 lbs to lose to get to target weight of 130 lbs. Only joined MFP today. Before was using a similar site called fitday.com but was not losing any weight in the last month or so. When I logged on here today was told that I…

Agree with some of the posters above. OP menu sounds like more than 650kcals. Quiche alone must be more than 300kcals, turkey breast about 300kcals and a handful of nuts about 100kcals. Then there are the other items.
