Congratulations on those two big milestones! I've been feeling demotivated as well, recently. I've read people here recommending a few weeks on maintenance to give yourself a break. If you've been at this for 3 years, a bit of time at maintenance might be just what you need to get you motivated again.

I'm wearing a goal outfit today! Like Candice above, when I bought it, you could see my belly button. But not today! Now this isn't my final goal, as I still have about 20 pounds to lose. But this dress is a 10 and I started at an 18/20 so I'm counting the win!

That's amazing! Well done you!

You've made amazing progress! Well done! Do you want to keep losing? Then you have to come at it with the same vigor that you did for those first 6 months. You say you know you've been looser on logging, so maybe tighten that back up again. Then on the days you can't physically log in to the site, can you log in a…

Check you out! Amazing transformation! I don't want to be weird, but you have an amazing butt!

Well done you!

Hi. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. What an eye-opener! My OB sent me to a dietician at the hospital to talk about what my diet should look like. Did you have that appointment? I also had to test my blood three times a day. I don't remember much about it besides watching portion sizes of everything,…

I've just been on a week-long vacation and didn't log. But I was still conscious of what I was eating and made mostly better choices. My general rule is to eat 80/20 - 80% better, more healthful choices, 20% because-I-want-to-eat-that choices. On vacation, I tried to stick with 50/50. We also walked A LOT (still wore my…

This "I can't do that" attitude plagued me at my "fluffiest" as well. In fact, all my life because I've always been fluffy. My trainer asks me to do stuff all the time that I'd never even considered as possible. Now, I'm starting to get to the "bring it on, I can do anything" mindset!

Thank you for your story! It is *amazing* what a difference that year has made for you!

Amazing transformation. Well done!

I was shopping in a vintage shop for a trench coat. I tried one on but wasn't sure I loved it so put it back. The shop lady straightened it out and I apologized for not putting it back nicely because I was still considering buying it. She said she'd fixed it "because the smaller sizes go quickly". I WAS SHOPPING IN THE…

It's so great to see the transformation, particularly using the same piece of clothing. Well done!

My 3-year-old daughter is one of my main motivators for two reasons. One, she is really fast! So I need to be able to keep up with her :) Second, I want her to grow up knowing what healthy looks like. Healthy food, healthy fun. I'm on here all the time so FR if you like!

At 230lbs I was in way-too-tight 18 jeans and XXL t-shirts. Today at 175lbs I bought comfortable 12 and slightly-too-tight 10 jeans and M shirts and dresses. Here's the thing about these sizes, though. The last time I was near my goal weight of 150lbs was 30 years ago (!!!). And then I was wearing 14s. Vanity sizing is…

I get that a lot :) I'm average height with brown hair and brown eyes. Apparently I look like a lot of people! I've had people stop me in restaurants, gas stations, etc. One person even said, "Cousin Helen?"

Well done! It technically *is* just a number, but it has huge implications for you. I've got about 25 more to lose as well. I'll watch out for your next success story!
-
Well done! I started at the same place and am down to 175 now. Aiming at 150. Thanks for the inspiration!
-
Yay! Finding out you fit in the next smaller size is a HUGE confidence booster. Well done!

I'll talk about New Star Wars with you! I honestly didn't know about Luke and Vader's helmet, which puts a whole new spin on things! I'm mildly irritated that Disney et al have decided to ignore everything that's been written since Episodes 4, 5, and 6 (particular the Thrawn stuff) but have decided to move past it and give…

Amazing progress! Well done!

Thanks for posting that. As a mother to a daughter, I do NOT want to pass on my body weirdness to her. At 3 years old, she's already heard someone (definitely not at our house!) say something about having big legs. I told her that she has strong legs that are just right for her body. I want to get healthy so that THAT is…

Same. People always ask me for directions. I've come to think it's not because I necessarily look like I know where I'm going, but because I look like I'm nice enough not to blow them off for asking. Confession: I wish I had a Resting B*tch Face.
-
Same! Oh, I just hope they don't screw it up.

That texture difference thing is exactly why I don't like nuts in cookies or fudge. I'm happily anticipating a nice, soft, warm bite of chocolate chip cookie and then ARGH WHAT WAS THAT? when I hit a nut. My mom used to make fudge with nuts but leave a portion at the end without nuts just for me. Thanks, Mommer!

That's a great milestone to pass! Well done!

Word.

Yep. Also, it seems some men do not really grow out of that socially awkward stage. My husband and I have been together nearly 10 years and he still occasionally comes out with a corker. I've decided that because he's worth it, I'll put up with it. But that does not come without an earful of how there are better ways to…

Good for you! I think the "during" posts are as inspirational, if not more, than the "after" posts. It shows you've done a lot of work, still have to work to do, and intend to do it. Well done!

OK, I can see some of these, but not Kanga & Roo! How can they represent lust? Also, don't ruin my childhood. Edit because punctuation.
