I use 15 and 20 lb kettlebells along with a my hr monitor. I burn 8-10 calories per minute on average for a 30-40 minute workout. I highly recommend Lauren Brooks' kettle bell videos. I recently asked her during a live chat session on Facebook if I should up my kb weight to break through a plateau and she said: "Lauren…

I'm gonna attempt Lean as well. Starting today. Anybody going to follow the meal plan, too? I think I'm just going to watch/track what I eat on here.

I didn't expect to get ripped lol because I'm so overweight, but I actually do see a difference in my body. I've lost 6.4 lbs so far :-). I'm waiting till tmw to calculate the official weight/measurements. I might post pics...but I'm not sure yet.

I won't join a gym for the same reason. I had a personal trainer a couple of years ago, and while she did do wonders for me, most of the moves she taught me were things I can do at home with no or minimal weights/equipment. Plus, most of it was proper nutrition. I would recommend doing exercises that only require your own…

I always recommend Lauren Brooks' DVDs. She is a certified RKC instructor, a certified clinical nutritionist, and has a degree in kinesiology. Plus, her videos start with instructions on how to execute the moves properly. I own her first two videos that I purchased/downloaded from her web site. She has actual DVDs you can…

I found this... http://www.apple-cider-vinegar-benefits.com/vinegar-and-diabetes.html Plus they say, "…two teaspoons of vinegar could be consumed palatably in hot tea with lemon at mealtime.” Sounds good to me:-)

I would recommend Lauren Brooks line of DVDs. She even has a DVD for pregnant women! Plus she is certified in RKC and has a degree. I have Jillian Michaels' Shred it With Weights, and it's a good workout, but she doesn't use proper form nor does she tell you how to properly execute the moves. I would recommend purchasing…

I've been using kettlebells for about 4 months and I love them! They are a great full body workout. I love that you have to use your core for every move and it's like doing cardio and strength training at the same time. It burns LOTS of calories in a short amount of time as well. I use kettlebells 4-6 days a week, but also…

My fav is the kettlebell windmill - I feel it in my "love handle" area;-) My least fav are pull ups. I've never been able to do just ONE. Even when I was in the military:-(

I'm 5'2 and 28 years old. My goal right now is to be 130 (my pre-baby weight), but it may change once I get closer to that goal. The pic on my ticker (see below) is me at 130 on my 21st bday/the day before I left for AF basic training. I'd like to get back there, but I think I was kinda "skinny fat". I mean I wasn't…

Wow! Congrats on the huge weight loss! ...but sorry to say that stretch marks NEVER go away. They are essentially scars so they are there forever, but just like other scars they do fade a bit. I've had two kids so I have them as well:-( So not fair

First of all, congrats on your weight loss! Second, sorry to say it but you cannot tighten your skin with exercise:-( The elasticity of your skin is determined by your genetics and probably age and the rate in which you've lost the weight. But, if you think that your arms are "flabby" it may not be due to your skin. Maybe…

Don't worry so much about the number on the scale (I know, it's hard) but, measure yourself instead. I went for 6 weeks without losing anything so I started measuring everything - chest, waist, arms, hips, thighs, etc. This helps keep me motivated when the scale disappoints. So far I've only lost 7 lbs since Feb, but I've…

I have only lost 7lbs since joining MFP in February, but have lost 24.45 inches. I weigh myself every Friday morning and then measure everything. I do this because I know I'm not going to be happy with what the scale says, but I KNOW that I'm going to love what the measuring tape says:-) Plus it keeps me motivated to keep…

You did an awesome job! You look great! This might be off topic, but how do you get your hair so red? I've been wanting to go vibrant red for a long time, but I'm afraid of messing up my hair (I never dye it). How do you maintain the color?
