Those sound DELISH!

I think it is a personal preference. I do like the idea of having a "drinks" section so I can add what I am drinking. I add Mio to my water, and count that. Zero sugar, zero calories, no caffeine and LOTS of flavor =) I might do that. As for my personal preference, I would log it, just so its in there, but I would also…

urbinachick24- do you have pictures or demos on how some of these are done. Looks super intense! Wow.

I just got it in the mail today. Splurged with my tax money =) I was kinda hoping for a buddy, but not sure I will find one here... bah!
-
I would drink LOTS before and maybe even bring some veggies with you to snack on instead. =) Good luck and remember even if you do overindulge, tomorrow is a new day.

One inch does matter! Why care if anyone else cares? YOU MATTER and you are doing this for you, not for them!

I personally wouldn't count the walking... that is part of your "daily activities" I walk that to my class as well and don't count it.

I can't see it :(

Vitamin/mineral - why? Woman's multi vitamin - didn't have the best diet to start, so wanted to make sure I was getting what I needed. calcium - family history of osteoporosis vitamin d - aide absorption of calcium acidophiles - maintain balance (supposed to help prevent yeast infections) potassium - restless legs I think…

I think it's really important to try and find one thing every time you look in that mirror to compliment yourself on. I am really getting better at it. I look in the mirror in the morning, "You have beautiful eyes" then the next time "Your hair has personality." Both things that will help raise my self esteem. You are not…

You might be under eating. That happened to me. I kept right at 1200-1300 for months and worked out every day at least 30 minutes with just barely a loss. Then I started here with the net calories and in the month I have been on here, even with my "bad" days, I am still losing apx a lb a week.

I have done it before. i find any "race" is a good motivator. I have done a 5k and am signed up for a 10k both for charities. =)

Just a note about the battery changing, they do have you send them in, but its only to ensure that the waterproofing is maintained. You can use the polar swimming even. My friend's battery lasted YEARS at 3x a week use. So, it isn't like you are sending it in every week...

It really worked for me. I am in love with running now. I don't always run straight without breaks, but I am running. I am in training for a 10k =)

I have the DVD in the bedroom. Just gotta push play! I might tonight. when I get done with my meeting. I have a question for you though, does it take much space to do? I think I might end up in my bedroom doing it and want to make sure I can finish!

http://www.exercisetv.tv/workout-videos/ Here is a site I use often. =) Not sure how many circuit videos there are, but it worth looking at. =)

Keeping up this routine is HARD. I am not going to lie, but I am proof that slow and steady it does come off. Prior to MFP I was on another site tracking, and lost 30 lbs already. The rule I live by is 10% goals. I make a goal to lose 10% of my body weight and set a realistic goal. My first was like six months and I didn't…

I would say if its out of your norm, log it. =)

That is why I love my heart-rate monitor. The burn is different for me because of my heart rate. If I just log walking, I am way under on my calorie burn. I am a slow jogger too!

Another idea is to make something yourself that is healthier, like maybe an apple crisp. There are a TON of recipes that you can try that are lower in calories and just plain better for you. =)

What I do when I know that I am going to have a high dinner is eat oatmeal for breakfast (low sugar variety) even two packages is less than 300 calories. Then I have a BIG salad for lunch, add some chicken on top if I must have some extra protein. Then allow myself to indulge SOME at the event. This being said, I am really…

What I do when I am freaking out is really try and tell myself "what would happen if this didn't happen" and your situation could have been really bad. Sure you might have to take a pill, you can figure that out, its better than the alternative of having a heart issue or something that leads to a really serious issue. It…

I am seriously going to think about this one. =) Its a great idea, but not sure how I can do it with the new scale we just got! I will talk it over with hubby.

I don't really know. I have a HORRIBLE time with my sodium intake and don't even use salt! Its ridiculous and did you see the FDA changed the guidelines on how much you should have a day. (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/215214.php) I think you just need to really watch the canned goods and prepackaged stuff. That…

I use my polar HR monitor when I work out to better estimate calorie burn. Should I still underestimate by 1/2?
-
PS I haven't lost 0 lbs! Only 0 since coming here... I have lost nearly 30 sofar and have just 20 left to get to my first big goal.

Welcome! I am new as well. Getting used to this posting is interesting!

:-( That is so hard. HUGS! This too shall pass, and you can go back in a few months and show her!

The number of times has gone up, but I have done the upping the water before and it only lasts for a short while. Soon your body will become more used to drinking that much and will use it more effectively.
