Looks to me like you're really focused on doing this the right way. Good for you!

My niece lost weight on 500 calories a day and I have much better muscle tone at age 54 than she does at 27. If I'm gonna go through all the hard work of lifting weights to build muscle, I'm for sure, gonna eat enough food to support them, not lose them.

Salma Hayek, she's short and curvy, I'm short and curvy. Just need to trim it down a bit!

It hurts to lay on my tummy in certain positions cause I have lost fat from my ribcage and it hurts to sit in the tub, cause my tailbone has less cushion.

The days you do workout, are you eating back your exercise calories? I have been stuck on the same number since early Jan. Started eating all my exercise calories back on Monday and lost a pound today! I guess they were right!!!!

If you rush your weightloss and don't learn to eat in a healthy fashion, you will put it right back on. Slow and steady is key!
-
17 pounds? Oh she noticed, she must be one of those people where it has to always be about them! Keep it up, and maybe one day you can help others with what you've done. I doubt she has it in her to ever do that. Pay it forward!

Your choices are pretty healthy, I think you need to make sure you eat all the calories MFP has allowed for you. You may be different, but most of us find if we don't our progress really slows down. I'm even adding all my exercise calories, starting this week, just trying to get the scale to move.
-
I wasn't, but this week decided to eat them all. Not eating them hasn't worked, so time for a change!
-
It looks like you need to eat more. Food is fuel for the body to keep it going, if you don't give it enough it will stand still thinking it needs to hold on to everything it gets.
-
Yes, we are told by MFP what calories to get in to lose weight just by dieting alone. When you exercise you must eat those calories too or you will be under the first number and stall your progress!
-
I'm joining ya. Just upped mine this week and making sure to eat my exercise calories too. I'm very scared I might gain, but I hope this will jumpstart me. Been stuck way too long!!!

15 pounds is awesome!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

I just started eating back my exercise calories and was told there can be a gain at first, but that will change and things will start to move. Hope it happens. Hang in there, I've see the same pound up and down forever now, so I had to make a change. Hope this is the answer! Good Luck!

Yay!!!! Keep it up!!!

I hear ya! I just stared eating all my exercise calories to see if not eating them was causing the problem. I don't care if I lose weight, I just want to lose the inches and firm up. I do circuit training in hopes that I will burn calories throughout the day and to tighten up. I know it will take time, but in the end it…

I've been stuck myself so I increased my calories by eating all my exercise calories and by changing up what I eat. I was eating the same foods everyday and getting nowhere. I see so many MFP members have great success by eating those exercise calorie, so I'm in.

I just started this week eating all of them. It is scary, but it makes sense, so I need to do it. Not eating them hasn't done the trick, hope this will be the answer!

Cut up a whole wheat pita, sprinkle with a healthy oil and add garlic powder. Then bake until they become crispy.

Hi! I'm from St. Augustine, born and raised!

I do!!! When I go on vacation now, my weight stays the same, even though I eat poorly. But when I just did cardio, I'd always come home from vacation weighing more. Strength training works for me!!!!
-
WOW!!!! You look fantastic!!!

Nice looking arms!!!
