I've gotten hooked on her workouts lately. I love her 5 miles walks and I own all of her You Can Do series. It helped me get some stretching in doing her yoga and Pilates. If I want to work harder during the walking segements I just jog "boost".

I Love my Kindle. I go through phases where I will read tons and then not read for a month or more. I love the Debbie Macomber Cedar Cove Series or any book by her...lol I'm apparently in one of those non reading modes. I downloaded a book from the library to read on my vacation and have not touched it all week. The book…

I personally have not but my sister does. She is training for the Boston Marathon (her first year qualifying for it). When we have crappy weather like today with all this snow she hits the treadmill for her runs. She catches up on some of her television shows or watches movies. I would absolutely die of boredom myself but…

It depends on how bad the headache/migraine is as to what if anything I do. Sometimes if I have a headache I will walk, elliptical or bike. I definitely would not do anything jarring (running, jumping, etc.) Sometimes just some gentle exercise or stretching makes the headache better. When I have a full blown migraine I…

No but maybe I should start. I would be in fabulous shape....lol.

I usually have either almonds or pistachios and a Fiber One bar for morning snack when at work. On the weekends I usually don't snack between breakfast and lunch. I drink plenty of water all day as well.
-
I know some people say to have a light snack before working out in the morning but my body doesn't like that. You have to listen to what your body is telling you.

*I've made working out part of my daily schedule just like going to work or walking the dog. *I was getting burned out at the gym with elliptical, treadmill, bike and stairmaster so I started doing various workout videos at home. *I started strength training three months ago and love challenging myself. Hard to get bored…

You look absolutely amazing, Congratulations. I've started my strength training journey with dumbbells (12 pounds) and would like to find the courage to move on to Big Girl Weights. You are such an inspiration!!!

Workout clothes or videos are my fave!

If you don't enjoy running do something else. There are so many different exercises you can do. I'm sure you can find one you really like!
-
The best time to exercise is anytime you can fit it in your schedule. I like doing my workouts in the early morning before anyone gets up. The only kids I have to worry about at that hour are the furry ones...lol.

I started the New Rules of Lifting for Women yesterday!

When I was in college ( a long time ago) I had girls that worked in the next office that use to whisper that about me. I don't think you should EVER ask someone if they are pregnant.
-
I was going to say I do this but then realized my gum I chew everyday has it in it.

I saw that this morning on the news too! I love Girl Scout cookies.

I like the Rockin' Body workouts. For fun I bought Island Girl Hula Abs and Buns. I'm definitely not a hula dancer but it was fun.

I love my elliptical. I would invest in some weights too and some fitness videos to keep you motivated. You can always google workout videos online or get them from the library for free until you can afford them. I agree that you can always walk/run outside and ride a bike in good weather. My sister runs year round. She…

The temperature is 12 below right now. Not sure what the wind temperature is. Too darn cold for me!!!!

I'm 44 and always looking for motivating MFP friends. Feel free to add me.

You absolutely can lose weight without touching vegetables. My boyfriend lost over 200 pounds and he won't touch vegetables. It isn't a well balanced diet without veggies but it is calories in calories out that loses the weight. I love vegetables myself so it's weird when he won't even have lettuce or tomato on a hamburger.

I did 46 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of snow shoveling. Gym was open but didn't want to drive in snow to get there so did it at home.
-
I usually do 35 second planks in between other things as part of my weight workout. I end up doing 3 planks, 3 planks with mountain climbers and 3 planks with side step outs.
-
I aim for 45 minutes of exercise then do some stretching. During the work day I stand up and do some squats or walk around a little just to get off my butt.
-
I did my dumbbell weight workout in morning and did water aerobics for 50 minutes in the afternoon.
-
Wow, how rude! There definitely is a more polite way. I always hate shopping for jeans anyway. I never seem to find ones that fit properly.
-
I usually just have mine with raisins and some milk. I think I'm going to try the cinnamon suggestion today, sounds delicious!

Alarm goes off at 4:30 during the week. During the week I'm at the gym at 5 or downstairs doing my weights on non gym days. Weekends gym doesn't open until 7 so I can have some coffee before workout. I like to workout in the morning and not have to worry about it the rest of the day.
-
I did, was up .5 lbs but did weights yesterday so not worried.

I try and go to bed and get up at the same time every day so YES I did workout on Christmas. I did my weight workout, planks and squats at 5 am while watching a Christmas movie that was on tv that I had never seen, I was done by time my kids got up to open gifts.
