@363days - There is still a big void in our hearts but they are making our grief a bit bit lighter <3

Username : azkunk Weigh In Day: Sunday PW:173.2 CW: 175.8 LTD: 31.2 It was a rough week and I am not surprised about the gain. They changed my son's schedule for next week. They are no longer requiring him to log on to school in the afternoon from home after they were testing all morning at school. That will make it easier…

Thank you everyone for all of the support. Having the in-home euthanasia is definitely better than taking him to the vet. He went peacefully in the arms of my husband. Max was his shadow and his heart and he is taking it really poorly. I knew that he would want a new dog soon after since we we held back getting another pup…

This week is my daughter, she is in 5th grade and next week I have to do the same for my son, he is in 8th grade. They canceled testing last year. It would be nice if they would provide transportation or let them stay at school for the full day. This half day business for 2 full weeks is tough to juggle now that I am back…

I have been reading Atomic Habits and it has been resonating with me. I thought I would share some things since I know some are on a waiting list for it. The book suggests two different strategies to starting a successful habit. The first is 'implementation intention'. This is were you set a very specific plan that you…

I love my Apple watch <3 I use it to track water, exercise and steps. There is also a MFP app but I never really explored it. The health app on my phone keeps track of all my data and shows me my trends including cardio fitness. There are three rings on the watch that you should close each day and I try to do that. The…

Today has been a tough one. My daughter has state mandated standardized testing all week and they have mandated the tests must be in person but they aren’t providing transportation. That means having to figure out transportation to and from school for half days while still working. I thought I could work from home this…

@lelbarou - Nice loss this week! Thank you for the encouragement. I feel like I have been stuck at the same weight and just can’t win but I know if I give up, I will never win and it’s all about CICO so it’s got to eventually show up on the scale. Speaking of scale, I got some crazy readings today and I just checked that…

I will never understand why some people feel the need to bring others down. If you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything! That is one of the biggest reasons why I quit social media. Good for you for taking the high road!

Username : azkunk Weigh In Day: Sunday PW:173.2 CW: 173.3 LTD: 33.7 I felt like it was a good week and I’m disappointed that it ended in a gain. I’m not going to let that deter me and will keep up the effort. The scale has got to come down sooner or later. My rower should ship this week. I hope the more intense exercise…

Today was ok. I worked my plan but decided to have a cheat night for dinner. I was around 250 over calories but my weekly averages are still good. I also got in my exercise and 10K steps. I have a busy day tomorrow so I am not planning on exercise. My goal for the week was 150 minutes and I have done 221, so I’m good. I…

@TheresaM787 - I started with 64 and kept using it. I have a 320z water bottle and a reminder set on my phone to refill it 3 times a day. I also have an app that will calculate the hydration factor of other liquids like coffee, milk etc @iradi8 - nice steps @lelbarou - we have all sacrificed so much this past year. It is…

@TheresaM787 - I used to have a hard time too. Now my goal is 90+ oz. I am also surprised how easy it is to slip into that bad habit. I think I need to figure about a way to make it more of an automatic thing. @lindamtuck2018 - I’m so glad that you and your husband can get the vaccine finally @lelbarou - that’s a great…
-
@Piqueaboo - sorry that you are going back into lockdown but be grateful that your government cares more about people than businesses. In the US is up to each state to decide and my governor made the the face mask mandates ordered by the individual counties “uninforceable” and lifted occupancy restrictions for businesses.…

Today’s goals: 1. Go on a 20 minute walk before I start work and another 20 minute walk at lunch✅ 2. Pre-log meals tonight and stick to it✅ 3. 90 oz water✅ 4. 10K steps.✅ Crushed my goals today and the scale was down 2lbs this morning. I know that was in large part due to the diuretic so we’ll see what tomorrow brings. I…

@lelbarou - I am glad that you are starting to feel better about things and that you made some changes to your diet and expectations. Having such a restrictive diet works in the short term but will not be sustainable long term if you do not enjoy it. It has is much better to make little modifications that you can live with…
-
@lcfa5317 - the 180s are so close! You will definitely be there next week. @jimboden3 - 2lb gain after vacation is not too bad. That should come right off once you get back on track. @transparentenigma - I struggle with steps on the weekends too. I often find myself walking laps around my kitchen to squeeze them in.…

Plan for tomorrow: 1. Pack breakfast/lunch and eat what I packed ✅ 2. 90 oz water ✅ 3. Take 3 walking breaks at work ✅ 4. Walk during daughter’s dance class ✅ Weight was up a whole pound 😱 but I had a great day hitting my goals. I picked up my diuretic this morning and took one. Hopefully, that will flush a little over f…

I promised to show pics of my built in grill when it was done. Well, the side burner is on back order (thanks, COVID) so it’s only 95% done. Can’t wait to grill something now 🥩
