Hey guys - I'm restarting NR and saw this post. I just saw this on MFP yesterday and it is VERY worth reading. See what this woman accomplished by not worrying about the scale! http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/

I crack up every time it comes on. Normally I find that stuff annoying, but something about that pig makes me giggle....

A quacking duck. I always know when it's my phone ringing!

I've wasted so much time at work this morning looking at those lunches! They're beautiful and inspirational

Only had a chance to run once this week. So here's adding 6 miles. thanks!

Since I only drink one large glass each morning for the caffeine benefit I microwave a mug of water, throw a green teabag in it and put it in the freezer. An hour later you have iced green tea. I drink it unsweetened, too. I've actually grown to like the taste of it that way.

Here's Gina's recipe from skinnytast.com. I sub out the chicken breasts with ground turkey that I season while browning. I made it this time with fat free ground turkey and the calories for a nice sized 10 ounce serving is 250 calories. There is nothing like a lazy Sunday when you have a meal cooking all day in the crock…

Love, love, love Gina at skinnytaste.com! And above is one of my favorite recipes. I actually cheat on this one and use browned ground turkey instead of the chicken breasts - makes it ready to eat much faster!

Thanks for the post - just what I needed to get started on NRLW again.... You look amazing!

Love this! Having a goal will push me out into the cold January weather. :grumble: Put me down for 50 miles and thanks for taking the time to do this group.

Completed Week 1 yesterday. I'd stopped running b/c of various aches and pains for three weeks and boy did I miss it! I'll start Week 2 either tomorrow or Saturday and am looking forward to the longer running periods. I run outside and am looking forward to receiving winter running gear for Christmas!

Where in the grocery store are these? With the nuts maybe?

I have an iphone and couldn't find "Rundouble". Anybody else have an app suggestion? Edited to say... Just found an app named "Bridge to 10k" and it's $2.99 on my iphone. I'll now ask an app question (I'm phone-challenged). Can you run two apps at the same time? I want to know if I bought this B210K app, could I run it at…

So now I know! Thanks so much for your responses and suggestions. Guess I'd better dig out that inhaler! And I will try some hot tea after lunch. And the scarf suggestion sounds like a great idea. I'll definitely try that next time.

At the actual Thanksgiving meal I am eating whatever I want. It's one meal that I look forward to all year long. I already plan a long run that morning, so I'll even have some extra calories to spend that day!

Hate it. I've lost 50 pounds (thanks MFP!) and am now in a size 2 or 0. Old clothes I dug out of the basement from 12 years ago = me wearing a size 10, MAYBE an 8. But now that there's vanity sizing, I'm in the smallest size of a lot of places - I can't wear pants from Eddie Bauer b/c they're too big. And believe me, I am…

As a grad of the program, I concur that you should not run more than the three days/week the program recommends. Huge changes going on in your body and you don't want to rush it. Let your strength an endurance build slowly!
