Add some almond milk and greek yogurt. Also, there's this: http://www.buzzfeed.com/arielknutson/overnight-oat-recipes-oatmeal-cold

Eat veggies that were steamed or at least aren't drenched in butter. Have a large salad without dressing. Also, like kaseyr1505 said, add about 20% to whatever you think you are eating. Maybe only make one plate and don't go back. Just because you pay for all you can eat doesn't mean you have to eat all you can eat. :)

Personally, I wouldn't adjust and just know your deficit is even larger today.

Glad I am not the only one.

OK, so you don't sound rude, I do sound stupid. I should explain that the reason I think it is related is two-fold: back in 2012 my doctor told me I may have trouble digesting leafy vegetables, and since my surgery any time I eat a salad it basically comes out whole. I only see it as a potential problem now because I plan…

They also eat an insane amount of food and sleep when they aren't training. Here's a thread for you: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1336738-starvation-mode-and-muscle-growth-2-most-common-excuses

That's pretty sweet broscience there.

Calories can't tell time. Meet your daily caloric goal and do what works for you. I only eat between noon and 8pm, and only 2 meals and 1 snack.

I could probably work out to the Diva Plavalaguna song from Fifth Element :)

My husband hates them, but I love them. More for me!

I read somewhere that 3 hours is enough for "overnight." Mine stay overnight for about 7 hours minimum and they are fine at that point.
-
Yep. The milk and yogurt soak into the oats to soften them.
-
I am sorry to hear that. :( I don't have experience with Adipex but I say give it a try if your doctor thinks its a good idea.
-
I. Love. This.
-
I skip breakfast and eat all my calories between noon and 8pm.

I stopped getting my cycle when my scale topped 260, and came back as the scale got back down to 250; I went over a year without a cycle.

That seems way too strict. Maybe get a second opinion? If you are in the US I know that is expensive to do! I believe (not an expert) that no one should have less than 1200 calories a day. Have you tried diet and exercise without medication before?
-
Did your doctor talk to you about diet and exercise as well or just give you a pill? I'd be reluctant to take it if it seemed like a bandaid fix, but if your doctor is truly invested in your health then I would do as the doctor says.

Chiquita banana song; your argument is invalid. :) All jokes aside, I often think like this too. People will comment things like "negative body image" like you don't already know that. I also have a negative body image - if I liked the way my body looked I wouldn't BE here. It's important to remember why you're here. Kudos…

Just read that Dr. Oz promoted Dr. Mercola, and now Mercola is dead to me too. LOL Thanks.

When they ask questions because there is too much contradictory info out there :)

Thanks for that tip! Looks like I will be doing some more of my own research. :)

You should credit the original poster because I have read this before. Not saying you are trying to steal it, but you should credit them.

Are you a Beachbody coach?

I love snacking on almonds, cashews, and raisins. I make my own "trail mix"
-
I am trying IF (today is my second day). For me, I don't get SUPER hungry until I eat, so I figure the longer I wait to eat, the less snacking I will be tempted to do throughout the day.

What do you LIKE to eat? One way to save money is to peruse all of the local adverts and buy the best deals. If you shop at Walmart, they will price-match anything else in your area. My local Sprouts and Aldi always has great sales on produce, and I get Walmart to price match it so I don't have to shop all around town.

Yes, this is the only way I am able to meet my goals. I also prep all my food the night before since I have to work so early, so it works out.
-
I'm new and plan on being active!!!

Even in a not-good grocery store, stick to the produce and meat aisles and you should be good to go.
