  • I am about to reread it. The message I receive from that book alone was very inspiring to work towards my goals. Lately I have been an eating machine due to external conditions. So I grabbed Joel and logged back on to reclaim my goals.

  • i am still sadden by the elementary children unable to identify fruits or vegetables. Especially the child whom thought an eggplant was egg salad!!

  • I wear my HRM when working out to make sure I am not putting undo stress on my heart. Plus it helps me make sure I am in the target heart rate for fat burning or interval training. I have attended spinning classes where the instructor will do a workout based on heart rate.

  • I was never much of a meat eater, but after reading Fast Food Nation that just took me over the edge. The main thing going veg has done for me is that I am aware of what is going into my body and how my body reacts to certain food.

  • if i miss the gym i get on exercisetv on demand or on the website. usually on the website there are workouts you can do without purchasing.:happy:
  • increasing my fruit, vegetable and water intake. i hardly eat meat so not eating it for days is nothing new and plus it helps the grocery bill.

  • i can feel my body beginning the cleansing process from all the bad food. my head is pounding and i am craving anything fried..especially a fish sandwich with tarter, cheese with fries, but to make it healthy i always had it on wheat. this will be a rough couple of days. :bigsmile:

  • I understand the dinner pain oh so well. Are you eating every 3-4 hrs? I call it the daily grazing. It takes awhile to get use to but once you get in the rhythm before you know the dinner pain will not be so severe. :smile:
