  • Dude at my gym was throwing his dumbbells around this morning, once or twice fine but by the 8th or 9th time I was pretty fed up of hearing the crash. My gym is not set up for dropping weights like that and they bang really loudly on wooden flooring
  • I would say it will remain on her device but not on her cloud so she has to keep it stored locally. But this is just a best guess from using mine. The forums on amazon are normally quite helpful.
  • What an amazing person you are, to cope with all that and come out fighting. I truly wish you every success and best for your future. xx
  • That makes sense. I do stretch out at the end of my workout but maybe I need to do more. They have foam rollers at my gym so I shall have to have a look up and see what I need to do with them. My core isn't the strongest. Its better than it was 8 weeks ago when I started working out again but its not as strong as it should…
  • I looked into both and watched lots (and lots) of you tube videos of each one. For me I chose this one because it was a bit more varied. I am only on my second week of doing it but so far its great. I am not saying I won't move over to stronglifts at some point as I do like the simplicity of it but as I am just getting in…
  • Thanks. I think I am going to stick some hiit in after one of the weight sessions (can only do once on a Sat due to time) and do another on one of my rest days and do a steady state one on that day. Though saying it didn't kick my butt my triceps are sore today. Only thing that is so not sure what I did to warrant them…
  • I am really enjoying lifting, dropped down to the 12 reps today Squat - 35kgs (77lb) 12 x 2 Push ups - body weight - knee height bar 12 x 2 Seated Rows - 40kgs (88lb) 12 x 2 Step ups - 20kgs (44lb) 12 x 2 (or 24 x 2, however you would put it) Prone Jacknife - 12 x 2 My muscle in my bum is still a bit sore where I pulled it…

  • You need to do the squats properly not with the smith machine. If she isn't even willing to show you how to do them properly then you need to get rid of her and get a different one for a session to teach you what you need to know IMO From everything I have heard smith machines should be avoided at all cost as they can…
  • I am new to doing either but so far I love squats. If I had to choose one it would be squats.
  • Urm.....WOW. Has to be said, you look hot!!!
  • Since being sterilised last year I have had the most horrendous TOM. The type of pain that means I can't stand up and walk. I have been taking some major heavy duty pain relief to get through the day when it hits. At the beginning of May I started at the gym, end of May TOM was painful but not as bad. This month I haven't…
  • Since I was about 6 so 29-30 years. But I do cook them for others at Christmas.
  • In 6 weeks thats a great progress. Keep up the good work. You have got me wondering how long it would take me to do 5 k on a bike now. Hmmm might give it a go next week :)

  • I quit smoking and ate ALL the ginger biscuits. The I got pregnant (6mths later) and ate ALL THE FOOD. And I got fat (shocker, I know) I lost the pregnancy weight last year and I am now back to loose the quit smoking weight. I am doing it by eating right and picking up heavy stuff.

  • Whilst I could do with a bit more good fat in my diet in this case it's just because it wa disgusting. For the last 6 or so months its been the same, I just don't like it anymore. I will quite happily have Burger and fries and I am tomorrow for my treat meal and will enjoy every bit. I just can't stand the fast food chain…
  • Workouts 1 & 2 (A&B) are 2 sets of 15 reps Workouts 3 & 4 (A&B) are 2 set of 12 reps Workouts 5 & 6 (A&B) are 3 sets of 10 reps Workouts 7 & 8 (A&B) are 3 sets of 8 reps This is as it is laid out in the book. The worksheets are a general layout and are relevant to the different stages in the book. In the earlier stages you…
  • I had a yakdonalds on holiday 5 weeks ago. It lived up to its name and I shall probably never eat one again.
  • Listen to your body. If you get any pain whilst you are rowing then stop. No point in hurting yourself to the point you can't do anything. When I aggravated an old injury in my back when I first started resistance training I found some new stretches that really helped and I no longer get pain as long as I stretch out…
  • That's awesome. Happy shopping :)
  • I noted how I get off today, I bring my knees all the way in and lower them to the floor. When one is down I take the other foot off the ball. Seems to work for me :)
  • There has to be a balance. I am sure there has to be nicer multi-seed sourdough bread out there. Maybe try a bakers or making it yourself. I am a sucker for bread. I love a fresh loaf so as am every day thing, no I don't buy them but every now and then it does the soul good to give it what it desires.

  • To never in a million years ever do it. What you put in your body your baby gets. Does your baby need to diet? No. Please please do not do this!!!
  • Woohoo it posted :) Oh yeah, your thighs are slimmer too :)
  • I managed to look at them by copying the links. There is a difference. Your silhouette is smoother. Your skin all over is smoother. You have more definition is your arms, your butt is definitely firmer. There's a lot of changes there for you. Well done :)
