When it comes to smart scales, check out my thoughts on those HERE. I'm a big fan of the Fitbit software, and their integration with MFP is some of the best. If that is the route you go, then one of their trackers would be ideal. Since you mention a HRM and taking that data with you- the Fitbit Charge HR will be a great…

Some great replies in here. I'm another notch on the post of "not a Jawbone fan" ... I don't have any BodyMedia experience, but I've tested virtually all the trackers on the market today. Check out my blog: http://www.arijaycomet.com As other said, a good heart rate monitor (HRM) would be a great accompany to your current…

I've reviewed these devices, ad nauseum -- check out my blog: www.arijaycomet.com For what you have described, it sounds like virtually any of the trackers will work for you. On my blog you'll find a holiday shopping list, so that might be worth checking into. Most of the good units don't have a subscription -- just a free…

Thank you so much! My mistake -- I think I had the Charge HR page and Surge page open at same time and looked at the wrong one. That is interesting, and when compared to the Microsoft Band, gives those two a huge advantage, for sure. I can't wait to test the Surge and see how it looks/works for my needs, but also for…

I've just posted on my blog about the Apple Watch as compared to other fitness/activity trackers on the market, check it out here:…

You can reach LG customer service via their web site. I just followed the links and sent an online email inquiry. You can also call them at toll free # 800-243-0000 if you prefer. Either way, reaching LG should be simple enough. FWIW, it seems users expected more than just names, too. Another person with a Moto X tested…

My thoughts on the Garmin vs Fitbit: http://arijaycomet.com/2014/03/13/battle-garmin-vivofit-vs-fitbit-force-vs-fitbit-flex/ If you really want a device that works with HRM (read: not Fitbit) then the Garmin is better. However, I care too much about MFP integration. If they eventually get the Garmin to work with MFP then…

I think the Fitbit is the way to go, as I wrote in my review here: http://arijaycomet.com/2013/12/10/battle-fitbit-force-vs-polar-loop/ I think the Garmin is a good option and I'd take it over the loop, as I wrote here: http://arijaycomet.com/2014/03/13/battle-garmin-vivofit-vs-fitbit-force-vs-fitbit-flex/ But in the…

Just did a comparison of that vs Fitbit here: http://arijaycomet.com/2014/03/13/battle-garmin-vivofit-vs-fitbit-force-vs-fitbit-flex/ I've also written my review/comparison of the Loop vs Fitbit here: http://arijaycomet.com/2013/12/10/battle-fitbit-force-vs-polar-loop/

Both are great products but the Fitbit wins every time--- for my review go here: http://arijaycomet.com/2013/12/10/battle-fitbit-force-vs-polar-loop/ Basically, if you want to track cardio workouts with an HRM and have a smart phone, buy a HRM from Polar but use your phone. The Fitbit is still better for daily tracking,…

Can't way enough good stuff about my Fitbit .... LOVE IT!! ... check out some of my blog posts, such as: http://arijaycomet.com/2013/12/10/battle-fitbit-force-vs-polar-loop/ I believe the Force/Flex are the two best options for activity trackers on the market today. And that Fitbit integrates so nicely with MFP is even…

Some of your questions would probably be answered in my blog, namely this post: http://arijaycomet.com/2013/12/01/fitbit-force-after-one-week/ However I'll do my best to answer your questions here. FOOD Enter anything you eat in MFP. That is the same as what you were probably doing prior to the Fitbit purchase. Basically,…

If you ask me, the Fitbit Force is the best product on the market. Jawbone UP24 is unreliable (I've had countless friends return theirs or have to get replacements) (the only friend with a Fitbit issue is rough on his Flex and needed a new band, which was cheap) My review/blog about why I chose the Fitbit Force:…

One more reply for this desire. I use a few apps by Azumio and would love to see the M7 step counter that Argus handles for me tie into MFP. Not a huge necessity but could be fun!
