  • I wasn't expecting to lose a large amount, but at least a pound or 2 after significant diet changes. I haven't noticed a difference in how clothes fit either. I haven't taken any measurements but will start doing that and hopefully see some progress in that regard. I understand that there are other benefits (fitness and…
  • I will go up to 1200 calories a day. I know the recommended amount i just feel fine on 1000 but hopefully 1200 will help. I use an electric scale most of the time, and haven't been using condiments other than hot sauce which is super low cal anyway. I really hope everyone is right about the water retention and whatnot. Its…
  • I'm in the same boat! I've lost about 5lbs so far, but still have a lot of work to do! Feel free to add me :)
  • I agree, but I had just posted in the wrong forum the first time, tried to delete it and couldn't figure it out. I didn't intentionally try to clutter the forums. Thank you for the other comments.
  • Why comment the same thing on both?
  • Thank you
  • Sorry, I posted it in fitness and realized it should probably be in diet. Why bother commenting if you have nothing positive to say?
  • Thanks ladies :) I don't mind still having a bit of loose skin after losing the weight, but I'm hoping I can get my stomach at least kind of tone lol
  • Well, depending on what you are drinking, it eats up a lot of your daily calories. I used to drink beer fairly regularly, and when I quit, weight started to fall off.
  • I'm a binger/over eater, but once I get the mind set that I NEED to lose weight and get into shape, I find it easier to resist the binging. When I feel like grabbing one of my "binge foods" I drink a bottle of water instead. I also don't feel hungry after a workout. So I would say that it has helped for me, but you also…
  • I'm a big evening snacker too...I have recently started snacking on celery and hummus. Celery is super low cal, and the hummus is fairly low cal as well, as long as you limit yourself. I find it satisfies my urge to snack, and can be filling.
  • Try entering what you eat on MFP because chances are, the meal will be listed.
  • I will be at week 3 of T25 by the 30th, but feel free to add me as a friend and we can help each other keep going!
  • I started 5 days ago as well! I love it too...the intensity is there, but it doesn't last as long so its perfect for someone like me who is out of shape. I can already feel the sessions getting easier on my body, but I still feel the burn. I've lost about 3 lbs so far, but have also lowered my calorie intake...the…
  • You should really speak with a therapist to get to the root of your problems with food. I can say, that having a tone stomach/body has less to do with losing weight and more to do with exercises designed to tone your body. Also, it is ok to give in to cravings and have some ``unhealthy` items, it`s about moderation. If you…
  • No offence taken :) I`m looking for genuine advice, not for someone to tell me what I want to hear. I haven`t spoken with my doctor, nor have I done weight watchers. I did lose about 70 lbs a couple of years ago, and then got pregnant and gained it all back, but I wasn`t paying close attention to my calorie intake and just…
  • I have been drinking around 6-7 bottles of water a day.
  • I will be purchasing a scale within the next few weeks, so hopefully that helps give me more accuracy. I`m going to look into getting a HRM as well. I am using the MFP goal calculator, and it had suggested 2000 calories/day, but I manually changed it. I will make some adjustments. Thanks!!
  • I am not eating back half, but some. I do eat after a workout...I will increase the amount that I eat back. I am trying to eat a good balance, and I`m definitely making much healthier choice then I have been. But I will increase my protein. Thanks!
  • I think by making small changes like cutting some calories..eating less/better and increasing physical activity ( taking 20-30 min walks/day) you have a good chance of dropping some weight quickly. I would love to partner up and motivate each other. I need to lose about 100 lbs. Feel free to add me!
