Thank you. If I am honest at this size all I really care about is seeing the number on the scale go down. My scale at home is 3lbs off of the scale at the clinic so I have a general idea of where I am regardless of what type of weight it is that's being lost. Once I hit my first goal, the rest of the numbers will matter.

I take mag twice a day as recommended by my doc and I go at least once a day if not twice. It's not a lot and I am not nearly as uncomfortable as I used to be now that I think of it.

That sounds accurate. I get to start working out with weights and stuff this week. Working out was not recommended the first few weeks (after the 1st week, light workouts like walking was fine). It'll be interesting to see what happens with the numbers once I incorporate a workout.

Hi! I am 3 weeks into keto and as of this morning (my weigh-in day) I am down 13lbs.

You get emails everyday with workouts you can do and meals to make, plus the guy that runs it (used to be my PT) has a youtube channel so he shows you how to do everything. I used to be scared of the gym too, but then I realized that there will always be someone fitter…

Today I am 233.5 and I am 5'7" Maybe I will just half whatever MFP says I burned, then I wont be disappointed.

My PT had me doing my reps very quickly regardless of the what day it was. Leg days I would rotate between three machines @ 15 reps each as fast as I could, same with every other muscle group we worked. My heart rate was always up in the 160s, how are the rest of your macros?

Thanks guys! I really like overnight oats, but holy carbs! I may go back to eating hard boiled eggs. I used to do weights and stuff at the gym about 30 lbs ago, and will again once i cardio away this 30lbs. I am doing a 5k on 9/13 mud run on 9/20, a 5k on 9/27 and a zombie 5k on 10/11. I am pumped!
