  • I just came back today and found all of these nice messages. I've pulled my head out of my *kitten*. I am tracking again. I have stopped pity eating, comfort eating, and just plain over-eating. I realize that the only way I am going to be healthy again is to take charge of my health myself. The doctors mean well, but they…
  • Well, the thing about Weight Watchers is that it does teach you how to eat right. They focus a lot on healthy eating, and the points values they create really put portion size into perspective. Before I started doing Weight Watchers I had no idea that the portions I was eating were WAY too big. Also, I didn't have a good…
  • I also did Weight Watchers. I just cancelled my account recently. It does work, yes. However, I have found the community here to be much more supportive. Also, the food calculation is much more complete. Many things I would want to eat would not be on their list of foods, and I would have to calculate them myself. This…
  • I also like comfortable and flattering to the figure. I've never dressed in a really revealing manner, though. I feel like, at my age, I know my style better. And I enjoy playing up my style. • I agree. Are you seeing a therapist for the eating disorder? It's important to heal your heart and head, and the rest will follow. I am sorry you are feeling crappy, and that you are struggling. Hang in there, because you can beat this thing. And you are so worth it. Jen
  • Hey there. I'm Jen and I am 39 right now, but I will be 40 in January. (I hope I can still be a part of this group). I have four kids ages 15, 12, and 7 year old twins. I am right now fighting for health and am about to have back surgery. I lost about 39 lbs last year but have gained back 15 since finding out that I have a…
  • This is interesting for me, as I have to take pain medication right now as I am supposed to have surgery on the 3rd. I wonder sometimes how much water weight I am carrying, but I know that the pain meds make me lose my inhibitions too. I hate it.
  • Hello there! Nice to meet you! I am kind of the same. I am very good at eating during the week, and then when I get to the weekend, I tend to splurge on dinner with my fiance, who just never gains weight! Hope you are having a good day. Jen
  • Nice to meet you! :) New here too. Look forward to making friends. Jen
