medication and water retension

i find a lot of my weight is water weight caused by my medication , is there a way to lessen this effect ?

Check and see if theres a water pill that can be taken with your medication0

I too have to deal with this. My only advice is to watch your sodium (salt) intake. It really makes a difference in me.0

This is interesting for me, as I have to take pain medication right now as I am supposed to have surgery on the 3rd. I wonder sometimes how much water weight I am carrying, but I know that the pain meds make me lose my inhibitions too. I hate it.0
