I had a pedometer before. I found it to be extremely inacurate. I have a Fitbit Force now, and I love it. It's acurate and it goes on my wrist so I'm not afraid of losing it.

Building muscle will help you burn more calories. Your scale might move slower, but you'll still notice the changes in the mirror and in your clothes.

In my experience you will gain back whetever you lose because you'll be so happy to once again be able to eat real food that you'll go a little overboard.

I have a fitbit force. I think it's pretty accurate. I love that it even counts the calories you burn by breathing. And the alarm and sleep quality funstions are awesome. :) It counts walking uphill as climbing flgihts of stairs, though I think it may be off on how many flights is equal to how much uphill walking. I do a six month and 2 four weeks ones at a time to I can get paid three times to lose once. :)

If you are also using the accelerator, be careful! It's pretty much pure caffeine and made me super sick when I tried it. Also, the taste was absolutely disgusting. I didn't bother checking if I lost any weight when I tried it because I could not handle using it longer than a couple weeks.

I will be. Even if I go over it'll be nice to know. We had a Christmas potluck at work the other day and I indulged more than I should have, but because I logged it I knew it wasn't so bad that I went over my daily calories like I thought I would have.

I would think that you'd be good as long as you stayed a little under the Calories Alotted + Caloried Burned.
