Haha Rabbit. Well there's that. Thank you both... I just needed to know the last few days not exercising were okay.
-
I don't think so? Well he has a bit.
-
Oh no he doesn't want to be HENCH! His ideal physique is Justin Bieber. This is startin to sound like i'm doing the whole 'i'm asking for a friend' thing haha. Mizroxy he defo needs a new trainer.
-
I don't know if his trainer is male or female ya know, i'll have to ask him. Leave him to it lol.
-
I told him to download myfitnesspal, he said 'why would I download an app when ive got a trainer' haha... He'll learn.
-
Haha Anonycatgirl. He said he can't consume over 1000 cals a day cause he doesn't eat meat. I'm vegan and I eat over 2000 cals a day. I think he defo needs a nee trainer.
-
He's quite skinny anyway, he wouldn't take that as an insult I don't think. He wants to have the Justin Bieber look, the way he looks now very ripped. Still got some muscle though.
-
Oh sorry Tavistock x Well he wont listen, i've told hm the bit i've learnt over the past few months and he wants to listen to his trainer and told me i'll soon see when he posts his 'after' pics in a few months lol.
-
Haha evil people. These are the words he told me: 'To build muscle you have to break down your old muscle and then build up your new muscle. Cardio keeps the fat off'
-
I told him he needs to build muscle and then cut and explained that's what bodybuilders do. But he found it funny because I was over riding what his trainer had told him.
-
I told him all this but he found it funny that I was going against what a personal trainer had told him. He's adamant he's gaining muscle.
-
Don't say that i'll be gutted now lol. I thought around 400 cals was quite an average amount for someone who does p90x3? I burn that doin T25 too.
-
Ah okay then. Thank you girls xx
-
I told him that he wont be building muscle, he says he is. I've told him he's probably just made the muscle he's already got feel harder and as the fat disappears it makes it more visible. He thinks hes built half a stone of muscle, which I find hard to believe.

Aw thank you Kalikel and SLLrunner. Just keep at it Kalikel, follow MFP's recommendations exactly and hopefully that should work. I'm no expert (far from it) but it's really working for me in just a few days.
-
Agirll thank you very much. You do whatever works best for you! If you've already lost weight you know you can lose the rest. As you say every lb lost is a success story so well done and keep it up :-)
-
Aw thank you to the people who've showed some encouragement, well done to you aswell. Keep it up! Losng weight is the best feeling in the world lol. Sidereel I agree with you. I'm not claiming I done that amount of exercise, I have done it. I take pics of my Polar HRM after every workout, have done for 3 months now. I push…

I started off at 228lbs in July and got down to 216, when I stopped losing weight I began to eat less. The weight wouldn't budge. All i've drank since July is water and the odd coffee with soy milk (unsweetened), I drink pea protein shakes, I make juices. I don't over eat.
-
Thank you Nixy girl :-) x Fitmomforu, just start tracking what you eat eith myfitnesspal and do P90x3, that's what workng for me personally, I can't reccomend it enough. And to the other 2... I know I wasn't tracking on here but I was keeping an eye on what I ate. I'd literally have a small bowl of porridge with one tbsp…

Was* eating next to nothing.

I've never heard of that but i'm new to losing weight in a healthy way. I've lost and gained since I was 16 (i'm 28 now) but normally the weight just drops off when I eat a very low calorie diet. It's been hard for me to accept I need over 2,000 cals to lose weight, but i've never put on a whole 3 stone before, normally…

Thank you Roda Rose. I was eating a bowl of porridge for breakfast, a quarter tub of hummous for lunch with a pitta bread and a bit of tofu with vegetables for dinner... I was doing P90x3 everyday and adding a 40 minute treadmill session in some days. Burning on average 500 calories each workout, sometimes 6-700 (using a…

I started at 228lbs in July, went down to 216 then stayed there.
-
I've recalculated my fitness profile in settings based on a sedentary lifestyle outside of p90x3 and said i'd be working out 7 days a week for 30 mins and MFP has said to consume 'Target Calories: 1440'... I'm confused now.
-
Thank you so much for the replies they're very appreciated. For now ill just stick to MFP recommendations because it's less complicated (for now). Thanks again x
-
2,520 is what MFP recommended.
-
I will be consistent with my exercise. I do half an hour everyday, it's quite intense. I never miss a workout. After this I want to start another program by Beachbody, if not, then i'll exercise every other day either on the treadmill or bike rides, and i'll do weights. This is all so confusing for me. Is 2,520 calories…
-
I've just done the MFP calculator, gave my age etc and should I choose 'very active' if i'm dong P90x3? Based on very active it says I need 2,520 cals a day... 'Active' says I need 2,152 a day. Should I do the 2,520 cals a day? Sorry for all the questions.
-
Another thing, I lead a very, very sedentary lifestyle outside of the half hour p90x3 workouts, due to a bad episode of depression. Maybe that contributes to me not losing weight? I've got a treadmill, should I add maybe a 30 minute brisk walk in each day alongside the workouts?
-
Thank you both very much. MFP didn't actually set the 2400 for me, I put that number in myself based on the p90x3 nutrition guide. If anything i've been eating less than what I should be, i've been so hungry sometimes but it's always in my mind 'eat less you'll lose more'... I only worked out how to track my nutrition with…
