 for this! and this +1! And, I'm always cold... and spend too long on MFP now.

It's Christmas Eve!!! ... Merry Christmas everyone. :drinker: I have 500kcal left for today, but it's 12.30am, and I'm just going to go to bed and keep them for tomorrow/christmas day.
-
Why do you want to specifically burn 100kcal?
-
No. What's the worst that could happen, I'll put on a few lb's of "water weight", that'll be gone come New Years.. or later on into January. When I've had "binging" episodes, the worst damage I've done is about 2,000kcal (before I feel ILL).. So I'll be enjoying my time with family, and eating EVERYTHING I can get my hands…

There isn't snow on the horizon for a very long time yet. It's pouring with rain at the minute, and it is set to be for the next few days. Not sure when you're intending on going to London. But, word of warning: You won't be jogging on the road anyway, you'll be knocked over!.. and the pavements may be too busy to be…

Have the men who've turned you down told you that it was because of your weight, or are you just assuming it was? If that's the case, even skinny people get turned down! .. You can't assume it is because of you weight, they may just have not felt a connection, they may have not been ready for a relationship, there could be…

Yes, I started trying to lose weight in February '13, and right now I'm 110lb lighter (started at 308lb, now 198lb, Finally under the 200's!!!! WooHoooooooo. Wishing everyone their continued successes in 2014.

Alot of people will be in the same situation over the next week or so. Try not to beat yourself up about it, you can start back on track as soon as the Holiday season is over. Good luck. :flowerforyou:
-
Well, I've never really made a resolution before, but this one I know I will stick to. So far this year I've lost 110lb, my goal is to have lost 154lb. My resolution is to keep up the diet/exercise, get to my goal weight, and hopefully ultimate goal (140lb).
-
Been wondering too. Hope all is ok.
-
Your dietitian has already told you it'd happen. Just listen to her and do as she advises. I'm sure she'll be the best one to listen to.

You're an 18 year old male, 1700kcal is not going to have made you gain 6lb. If your calories involved alcohol, or takeaways it'll probably be due to water retention due to salt/alcohol. Also, your profile says you're in maintenance. An 18 year old male at maintenance would have to be eating more than 1700 on a normal day…

You look beautiful. :flowerforyou:

You look beautiful, and you have a gorgeous family too. Thank you for the inspiration :flowerforyou: Have a very Merry Christmas.
-
Because I'm too awesome to be fat.:blushing: Lol, but seriously... Just for me!
-
Here's to cwolfman13's dad! :drinker: So sorry for your loss.
-
Your waist has become a lot more defined too. I can see a huge difference. Congratulations, you look amazing! :flowerforyou:
-
Why not ask a friend to take a picture of you now?... You can definitely see a huge difference. Well done. :flowerforyou:
-
Doesn't mean they don't exist. You don't know everybody in the world.
-
You'd probably do better if you actually bothered to read what I said. Previous comments were talking about feeling sorry for overweight people, who I said may actually be happy being overweight. Happy to be overweight that is, not just general happiness.

I didn't buy any new clothes until I'd lost near enough 100lb. Now I've slowed down dropping dress sizes so quickly, and have bought a few items in the sales, and a couple of things in the next size down (they fit, but they're too tight for my liking), to keep me going for a little while.

Been debating over this a bit lately. At the minute, I'd say I'll have Christmas day off, at the very least. Eve might be a little destructive, but that'll be it. Planning on saving any leftover sweets/treats etc, and working them into my allowance in the following week/s. I don't think I'll go crazy, but I don't want to…

Well done you, personally I just can't resist Chinese food. So, good on you! :flowerforyou:

Erm, well.. yes actually. There are people who are happy being obese, who purposely try to be obese and enjoy being overweight. There are those who even make money from being obese. Not everyone wants to be "thin", you're being narrow minded if you were to think they did. Being thin isn't the be all and end all of…
-
I think you'd do better if you stopped basing your body image on a picture you've found on the internet, that's probably been airbrushed/digitalised to within an inch of it's life.
-
You're all missing one point. Maybe all these terrible obese fat people you're all seeing don't want to change. And guess what? There was a time when previously obese people were looking at YOUR obese selves, thinking "poor them, they should really change. Shall I go and encourage them?" ..... Wow, some people really do…

I do believe there are more calories in thighs than the breast, but if that's the one you prefer, who cares? Just log it, fit it in and enjoy! :drinker:
-
I had the same issue, but I wasn't really being completely honest with myself, and was eating more calories than my allowance, but when I went back to my allowance, and upped my water intake, the lb's soon came off. I aim for 3 litres of water a day.
-
But, if you keep at it, when you're finished the pounds will soon "drop" off again. It's most likely to be water retention.
-
The best thing is you look, Happy! :flowerforyou: Congratulations, you've done amazingly well.
