There was a time when they believed smoking was safe, also. :smokin: That's good, because I actually didn't use any. I'd just mentioned an article I had read that was similar to the one OP had mentioned, which was a study by the [/i]Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel[/i], However, my point was I had noticed the effect…

In an article I read, they mentioned; Aspartame, Saccharine, and Sucralose. It also mentioned how they alter gut bacteria. I think these were just examples and ALL artificial sweeteners should be taken into account. Recently I have been doing a lot of research into the use of artificial sweetners, because I used to drink a…

+1. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to lose it, all that matters is that you are.
-
Yes, not being honest with yourself. It does not matter if your 'backsliding' days were not as bad as they once were, they have been bad enough not to put you at a calorie deficit for the week.

I could have wrote that post myself, this is exactly what I am going through at the minute. It's been a whole month on and off of binging and good days. I keep telling myself I'll get back on track, I do well all day then usually pig out before bed. I can't really offer any advice, but I wish you well. :flowerforyou:

If it isn't hunger, food won't fix it. :flowerforyou:

Only if the 6 word's are "let's eat every thing in sight". I got time for that.

I've heard about this before, usually a £1 or $1 for every lb. I read a story not to long ago, where the husband had paid her £1 for every lb, bought her new clothes, and then when she'd lost 9st, he bought her a ring with 9 diamonds in it. To me, that was just his way of supporting and encouraging her, and showing how…

That helps alot actually, thank you! I too suffer with the hair loss from the head. With all the water I drink already if I peed anymore, I may as well live in the toilet lol.

Definitely the weekends have always been a struggle for me. Right now though, I seem to be struggling every single day! :grumble:

I checked them this morning, and I'd been given 100mg. Seems like quite a high first dosage. I'd thought I'd lose the weight then get them to recheck my blood work, and see how things go then before deciding wether to take them. If it was just a case of being able to stop taking them and have everything go back to normal I…

Wow, glad this got bumped up because I had yet to see this! This story should so be a "sticky". This is just awesome. I love your style of writing, I almost felt like I was there with you that day. You've done amazing, well done you. Congratulations. I didn't scroll down to the photo's until I'd read everything, and the…

Definitely, well said! Plus, it's free, you don't have to buy any special clothes or equipment to do it! Unless you out walk your shoes (5 pairs!!!! :grumble: )
-
If you're not keeping track of your food too, walking isn't really going to make any difference at all. You could still be overeating. Otherwise, I'd say the first week alone you should see progress, without a doubt - the first month!.. All depends on how/when you lose. For some it takes a while to "get going".

I read an article in a magazine where a woman had lost a lot of weight, and mentioned that she'd used the MFP app to track her exercise. The word is out there! Congrats on your NSV. :flowerforyou:

14 pounds (lbs) = 1 stone (st) I haven't ever really rewarded myself. I bought new clothes, because they were needed. I did think about the £1 for a lb idea.
-
Would it help it I ate them for you?

Men need more calories than women (national guidelines state averagely 2,000 for females and 2,500 for males), 1,200 is WAY too low for a man, they shouldn't be going under around 1,700 I believe it is, just like a woman is told they shouldn't be going below 1,200. He's probably lost alot of water/muscle in that extra…

You might find this group helpful: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/3070-p-c-o-sis And, if you keep eating the same foods all the time you're likely to get bored, so mix it up.. and have whatever you fancy, not just what you think you should have. If you were on 3,000kcal a day, and MFP are telling you to eat 2,000…

This relates to one of the best quotes I read on that favourite quote page, which is: If it's not hunger, food won't fix it! Congratulations :flowerforyou:

I try and drink 3 litres daily. Don't always make it! I heard the you have to drink "half your weight in water" too.
-
Congratulations, you look awesome! I was looking for some pics with these kind of stat's lastnight - so thanks for sharing. Good luck with your trip to Eastern Europe too. :flowerforyou:

You look beautiful. :flowerforyou: congratulations! Glad you didn't let the hurtful comments hinder you in any way. Don't let the b*****'ds get you down.

Well OP has this in her profile: If you cant dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull****. So I think she went for the latter.

I was reading about the Tria 4x today in a magazine, which said it is the first product to use Salon quality Lasers. I have been thinking about purchasing a home laser/electrolosis machine for a couple of years now, but if it was guaranteed - I'd buy it tomorrow. I just wouldn't want to be £375 out of pocket and still…
