First of all, great job so far and I hope you reach your goals. So you are 4 months in and have lost 24 pounds. By high standard's (2 lbs a week) you "should" have lost 32 pounds. Take into account muscle growth from you weight training and all the other little weight fluctuations people have I say you were right on track.…

Yea, I would never join a big gym. Not being able to grunt (within reason) or drop a weight after a hard fought set is not for me. I also like to sweat when I work out and apparently that's a no no as well.

Sure, fella.

32 and in my prime. :)

Where's my twin? Age: 32 Weight: 205 Height: 5'11 Cutting at the moment. Trying to get down to 185lbs. Been working hard for about 9 months and want to see my gaaaiinnns. :) ...Just noticed this thread seems to be all women...I apologize.

This has prompted me to update my profile lol - it was seriously out of date. I'd call myself a beginner - I tried NROLFW and it lasted 2 months lol COMMITMENT is my first big step, MAINTAINABLE is the second! [/quote] haha you look pretty "fit" in your pic but yes commit to 3 times week for a least a hour and after a…

Just looked at your profile and obviously you are not a beginner so take my post for what it's worth:)

If you are just starting out then I think 3x a week full body training would be good. It will give yourself a chance to get comfortable with the machines and see what you like and don't like. Also, it will let you know if your body can handle a 3x a week full body cycle. As for the question about using machines vs.…

Can't trust the BMI test online, the only way to get a true reading is to do the water displacement BMI. I just did a online one for instance and I am obese according to that. Don't worry about it. You look great.

Sarahmichel and Michiiba are correct, not to beat a dead horse but how intense are your workouts? are you walking on the treadmill? Running? Whatever your fitness level is just figure out what is a "hard" workout and see how your body responses. Personally, I lift hard for 1 hour and then run/jog/walk (whatever I'm feeling…

I like to call it "Re-feed day". I don't consider it cheating when I re fuel my body with a little extra calories/macro's and its a little extra for one meal for me not a all day eating binge.

Good for you!!! Logging helps you/me to be honest with yourself about what you put in your body. Great start and keep it up.

2 whole and 4 whites daily.

I would say 30 minutes of running isn't going to hurt your muscle development. Not sure how intense the running is for you but I can't imagine that making a difference. Assuming you are resting sat and sun I think your workout seems fine. If you think you are over doing it maybe just walk every other day or maybe throw in…

Absolutely, you are getting something out of it. You are moving and exerting energy so I say nice work and keep it up. If you are doing 3 sets of 10 with pretty much no rest I would say use more weight for those sets and you will "feel" that you are getting something out of it. I workout similar to you. I do about 7 lifts…

I have this problem as well...I currently got done with about a month and a half bulk and just started to cut about a week ago. I work chest hard and decreased my calorie intake down to around 1500 cal. as well as increased my cardio. I'm hoping this works for me because I hate looking "ok" in the mirror but it looks like…

You good sir are amazing!! Nice work

Five Guys...Yes, kind sir, i'll take the bag"o fries and eat them all...no problem

Great job! You look great:)

I agree with ^. First figure what you are going for. Just lose weight? Tone up? Build some muscle? All of the above?. Either way I would say you aren't eating enough. No expert here just that i'd weigh in.....no pun intended:)

My dairy is open but its pretty boring. Same foods over and over again.

I've be doing IF for awhile now with a 4 hour eating window. As far as calorie intake I don't eat any more then I normally would if I was eating 3 meals a day. The idea of IF (IMO) is that in your fasting you are giving your body the chance to burn all the calories you consumed plus extra fat you would in other ways not…
