It would be great if your mother could support you in the way that you feel she needs to..but in reality, it is her home too, and if she wants snacks etc in the house that she enjoys she should be able to. Perhaps you could ask that she doesn't put the snacks where you will come across them, could she keep them in her…

That's great, well done to you both!

Are you actually weighing and/or measuring all your food and drink intake? If not, grab a set of scales and start measuring, its possible you are consuming more calories than you think. How long have you been calorie counting? A week, two or four weeks? Has weight shifted up or down at all in that time?

Not everything in your life needs to be posted on facebook nor do you need tell anyone about your weight loss efforts unless you genuinely want to.

I think the weight is already falling off you've lost 19lb in a month, that is a fairly significant weight loss. Make sure you are eating sufficient food for a sustainable weight loss.

MFP has set your allowance at 1700? How tall are you and what is your age?

Well done and welcome!

If you are going low carb you need to balance out with some extra good fats along with the increased protein. Don't forget you also need to make sure you get some electrolytes: http://www.nutrifiz.co.uk/replenish-electrolytes-on-a-low-carb-diet/

Do something else...if bored find an activity you enjoy, if lonely go for a walk with a friend or make a phone call to them, if angry a boxing class, if stressed yoga or a soak in the bath etc etc.

How tall are you and what do you currently weigh? What is your daily calorie allowance? Are you being overly restrictive with what type of foods you are eating or are you eating a well balanced diet with good fats, proteins, fruit and veg along with other high fibre foods and dairy ?

It may be that you are judging yourself too harshly. What exercise do you do? Taken up weights yet? If not, body re-composition could be what you need. If done properly, weights will help you reduce body fat percentage and increase lean body mass.

Lightly active example is an office worker who sits most of the day, but who gets up occasionally. Active example to be a shop assistant who is on their feet all day or someone who stays at home but is active with children and housework.

How tall are you and what is your current weight? Are you weighing and measuring all your food and drinks? Are you tracking your calories for everything?

It's a doctor's job to mention possible health issues, for some people, being overweight is a health issue. Be grateful they mentioned it, some doctors prefer not to knowing for some people it's a sensitive issue.

Spambots work very quickly

Not a good mix at all. Why would you do this to yourself? You won't be getting sufficient nutrient for incidental daily activities let alone boot camp.

If you aren't eating a lot of starchy veges and fruit, those zero point foods won't have too many calories in them. Well done on your loss so far...the last 10lbs will likely come off slowly but with patience you will get there. If you have been doing great so far, I wouldn't do anything with the info yet. Worry about it…

Did the leader suggest that or other members? How much weight are you losing on average per week? If its about 1lb a week that's great, if substantially overweight weight 1% of weekly start weight is also good. It can be confusing to attempt to marry up weight watchers points with calories. If you are losing a healthy…

I think you will find that most people have a roll of fat or what looks like a roll of fat when they are sitting regarding of in a certain way or not.

1200 calories is not sufficient for you. At 5ft7 and young, you should be eating more than 1200 calories per day. Bump it up to 1500calories per day and go from there. Each week bump it up some more until you are losing approx 1lb per week

Fruit can have a lot of calories. You are very likely missing out on vital minerals and nutrition by consuming fruit only.

While not all fluid loss in the first week, 8lb is a lot, and possible more than 50% fluid loss. tt could be that your body was dehydrated and compensated in the second week by retaining fluid.
-
Depends on weight...it seems reasonable for a start weight loss, however, if you don't have a lot to lose...1.5lb to 2lb per week won't be sustainable or possibly doable.

It's mostly a free site, I can't see all those things happening....you get what you pay for. All in all though, it's pretty good value for nix.

15lbs a month is a big ask....how about you provide some personal details, you are more likely to receive considered responses. Gender, height, current weight, goal weight??

So if you are eating very little, how many calories are you actually eating? No point compromising your health to reach an ideal weight. Very low calories is just not sustainable it will likely lead to binge eating, more muscle loss than is healthy - you want to be losing fat not muscle, hair loss, fatigue, etc etc. Do the…

Paleo isn't necessarily a weight loss diet, no harm in eating the paleo way but you will likely need to count calories to ensure you are in a deficit. Do not forget to factor in breastfeeding into your deficit if you are breastfeeding.
