7lb is great in a month. Don't let impatience be your undoing...

Thirsty or actually a dry mouth (reduced or very little saliva)? Two different things.

Lost 45lbs, gained one beautiful smile.

A pound a day is not sustainable at your starting weight, you are setting unreasonable goals and are setting yourself up for failure. At your start weight a pound a week is more reasonable.

Three hours? That's a lot of walking, are you intending to walk three hours every day?

Fibre, sufficient good fats, water, exercise. Fibre comes in many foods not just cereal and there are a few high fibre cereals with very little sugar.
-
Rest for goodness sake, why make yourself sicker for longer by exercising when you are clearly not well. Give yourself plenty of time to recover properly before you go off doing double lots of intensive exercise. Don't go making a martyr of yourself, absolutely no reason to feel guilty.

Do you mean the posts on the recent discussions from the chit chat forums? If so, you can go to the home link https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/ it should bring up the list of subforums. There, if you hover the mouse on the forum titles on the left hand side, a cog/wheel will appear..click on it, and select unfollow.…

No not really large calves at all, and weight loss won't help make them smaller. Not that you'd want or need to lose any weight given your already low weight.

If you are going low carb, its not so much high protein you need but high fat (make sure its a good fat). Low carb high fat..

I started to read the article but it was way too long and I lost interest. When I first read about clean eating I liked the concept of cooking and eating wholesome foods with minimal processing prior to purchase. There are many variations of clean eating and if we had 30 people in a room I doubt they would agree on a…

Did you write the post below? If so it says you married in March which isn't a year ago, interestingly within a couple of months or so, there was a 9lb gain...so I guess you already know what gives.... I think the post about EVERYONE getting HUGE but not you is just a brag post. Well done you, you lost your weight gain…

It's not just about weight loss for the OP, she in on multiple medications and suffers pain. While we don't know what the medication is for or what causes her pain, it is possible that her medical doctor determined paleo may be a good option for her based on their knowledge of the OP's medical condition plus what they have…

Not paleo but a reasonable and not so restrictive version of it... http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ A paleo diet or variations of it won't necessarily lead to weight loss, the author of the Primal Blueprint recommends calorie counting for weight loss, along with recommendations for macros of carbs,…

Any medical or medication issues that could be hindering weight loss? Edited to add: Oops I see thyroid issues has already been covered, pays to the read the whole thread before posting

When very close a goal weight, it can be difficult to lose weight, there isn't a lot of wriggle room for error..need to weigh and measure all of foods for calorie accuracy. What is your height and current weight? How many calories are you consuming per day? Perhaps with being so close to goal weight, you would be better of…

What help specifically?

If you are substantially undereating recommended calories for weight loss, it is likely you will eat over your own set calorie allowance again. You body won't be getting the nutrition it needs and you will likely be hungry.
-
OP it can be a hard trek losing weight, try not to make it harder on yourself by letting perfect be the enemy of good. We all make mistakes, don't expect yourself to be perfect and be kinder to yourself when things don't go according to plan, just keep doing better than you did before.

What is the issue with your protein intake? To little? To much? Or another query about protein intake?

Are you still eating under the recommended MFP calories? If so, this could be a reason why you are feeling hungry a couple of hours after eating.

Hungry and craving chocolate are two different things. If you are fighting hunger as you say in the subject header, chocolate won't be keep you satisfied for long. Eat something that will keep you satisfied for longer...protein, high fibre and good fats. Then if you are still craving chocolate, wait a while and then enjoy…

Well done!

That's a lot of sleep...if I read correctly...pass out at midnight...usually wake up at 10am? Approx 10hrs. I appreciate we all have different sleep needs, but too much sleep has it's own health implications as does too little sleep. If I have understood correctly and you are getting 10hrs sleep, it may be that this is…

Really, can't be bothered to educate themselves? How about people whose first language isn't English or people who through no fault of their own didn't achieve the same education as you? And just because a person uses lose or loose in the wrong context that makes them doomed about everything else weight loss or health…
-
Dear MFP newbie, I don't care if you use lose or loose as I know exactly what you meant. I appreciate the fact that it took a lot of courage to write your first or second post (or even your 50th), shared your backstory and am amazed by your determination and efforts to improve your weight and/or health.

Fill out your profile here and it will give you a daily calorie allowance that factors in your current weight, age, height, gender and incidental activity. The calorie allowance will be adjusted to create a deficit which should hopefully result in weight loss.
