That depends mainly on your height, weight and gender as well as activity levels. If you complete your profile here on MFP it will give you a daily allowance for weight loss. You will need to eat back all or some of any exercise calories from exercise undertaken as this has not been factored into the daily allowance

Your body needs protein and good fats too. If you are gaining weight on 600 to 800 calories per day (which is no where near enough nutrition by the way) you either have a medical condition or massively underestimating how much you are eating).

It may not stop you from losing weight, but you do need minimum amounts of protein and fats too, make sure you fit some in.

Could be just the initial water weight. How much did you lose the first week and then week two and three? Was there a big week one weight loss with weight loss decreasing in week two and three? If you are not using scales it is possible you are over estimating calories.

The MFP daily calorie allowance does not factor in exercise, therefore, when you log exercise it adds back the exercise calories for you to eat back. Issue is sometimes the exercise calories can be overstated.
