I'm allowed 43 grams a day without exercise and it would go as high as 60 after I exercise and I would eat that and some on certain days. This is just an update to the first post. I lost 5 pounds just by staying at my original 30% of fat. I did not eat more even when I exercised. So it WORKED, YEAH!!!.

I have a free app for my phone called cardio trainer and I strapped it to my arm and did the first day of 30 day shred and I burned (based on the application) 319 calories for 24 minutes. I hope this helps.

No I'm not eating my exercise calories. Because I'm doing most of my exercise at night and I'll usually have 600 or more left before I exercise and I usually burn between 325 to 600 depending on which exercise I choose for that day.

I had the RNY surgery. I went back to my surgeon last year and asked her how many calories should I be eating and she told me "no more than 900 calories". I have a calorie counter on my elliptical and everytime I enter the minutes on mfp it is exactly what my elliptical shows. I hope this helps.
